“I needed a suit, sport coat and other things when in town (I live elsewhere). I’d been wanting to visit the shop from prior visits to Wilmington. What I found was a great selection, good advice and a dryly humorous Leonard Simon, who obviously enjoyed ordering me around while trying his best to make sure the plethora of alterations I needed worked. Four days later everything was ready, the alterations were perfect, and I left happy with the quality of menswear, the service, the price, and the service. It’s been a Wilmington institution for 50 years, and now I know why.”
“This vans store is great! Very clean and very well stocked. There wasnt a size in any shoe we asked for that they didnt have. Every member of staff was friendly and kind to everyone who walked in but king was the man! His customer service is phenominal. King helped us find the perfect shoe for everyone in my group who were looking. He was patient and he gave amazing advice and connected with us! We will be asking for him to help us each time we go!!!”

“I came in here looking for a tie for my husband for Father's Day - fantastic store!! They have all of the beachy preppy brands like vineyard vines, Lilly Pulitzer, Jack Rogers, etc. Great for gifts or shopping for yourself :) Great customer service too - all of the employees were very friendly and helpful without being on my back the entire time. Will definitely be back!”

“Delaware is incredibly urban with sprinkles of flat country. Having moved here from the deep south it was nice to have some actual western and country attire that is quality. Be prepared to spend a lot of money tho.”
“I went to the men's fragrance counter to pick a birthday gift for a friend and when I say THE SERVICE I received from Sharon was impeccable I mean it was amazing! Unsure as to which fragrance I wanted. She went above and beyond to make sure I would be satisfied with what I brought. Nowadays the shopping experiences are just so BLAH most of the sales representatives are so cold and semi-rude. She was a breath of fresh air and Macy's should be proud to have her represent their company. If you are in the fragrance department and would like a great shopping experience ask for Sharon you won't be disappointed!”
“I don't often shop this location because I live closer to the Glen Eagle location but after a TERRIBLE experience at glen eagle I decided to shop Christiana. The store has a much better selection but more importantly the staff greeted me immediately and engaged with me during my whole shopping experience. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Kudos to the leadership team for hiring and development such a diverse and passionate team. I will definitely go out of my way to shop this location. Thank you!”
“We had a special situation prom and wedding cruise and Formal Affairs deserves 10 stars. They went above and beyond to help us out. With absolutely no hesitation. We initially went to Mens wearhouse because they are local. Mens wearhouse wanted 500.00 for one suit for one night. $500 you guys! That is CRAZY. And then my husband decided to rent a tux and then decided heck we'll out right purchase one. Formal Affairs was Way WAY better in everything. Formal Affairs, you deserve every award and then some.”

“I love Kohl's, especially their Clearance racks. But their boxer briefs & boxers, as sexy as they may be, are just way overpriced. Their sale was BOGO, which was still a bit too pricey for my range. Clearance is what I go for, too find great deals on off-season items.”

“I like to "peruse" if one can actually do that to a store like you would a book. It is more than just browsing it is looking for clothes, but doing so while trying to think of the styles the Gap had when i was much much younger. I remember thinking of how tough it must be for traditional retailers to compete with Amazon and other online marketplaces. It was nice to see it clean and well organized.”
