“This place has everything and anything you could need on vacation. If you forgot it, the market probably has it. It’s so convenient not having to get on the highway and waste an hour getting up to Walmart or other stores in the summer with beach traffic. Sammy takes great pride in his store. He thinks of anything you could need and keeps it stocked. The store is always clean and well organized. The attention to detail with the staff is great. They’re super friendly, and personable. They always ask me about my day, how I’m doing, and remember our conversations the next time I come in. They make you feel so welcomed that sometimes I like going into the market to buy a soda or some candy just to say hi.”

“I was so sad to see the previous owners retired and it was closed last year. This is a Dewey staple and perfect spot for coffee and picking up items you may forgot to pack. The girl working greated us and was super friendly! Thanks for reopening and keeping the name!! Dewey is a community that loves to stick together.”

“We had booked a room in Dewey with a kitchenette but it was bare bones when we checked in. Not even a spoon was provided! So we went to this store hoping to find some of the things that we needed. They didn't, but the storekeeper was very helpful with suggestions of where we might find some. And then when we were browsing around, he approached us with a pan he had lying around probably for his personal use. He said we could use it for as long as we needed! His gesture really touched us. He just said, "We have to help each other."We did use it, and when we returned it once we were done, he wouldn't accept any form of token of gratitude. Our only regret is that we didn't get his name. So Mr. Storekeeper thank you so much.P.S.: This store also did have everything you could need that you might have forgotten to pack.”
