“This well-situated hotel on the ocean block in Dewey has it all. Large, clean rooms (ours included a view of the sparkling bay across the highway) with every toiletry, including shower caps and washcloths (a washcloth is a must for me). The bed and pillows were comfortable and the room was quiet at night. The building includes a very large underground parking lot, which is truly rare in the beach towns, where street parking is at a premium. And the price at the Gold Leaf was very reasonable for a beautiful weekend in October (well under $200). I'm guessing this price goes way up in the summer, but for our purposes, this unfussy hotel was just right.”
“Memorial Day Weekend Getaway—Perfect for Families & Pets!
We stayed at the Atlantic Ocean Side for memorial day weekend and we had a great experience. Rooms and premises were very clean and entire staff was professional and friendly.
The location is absolutely perfect—steps from the beach and just a quick stroll to all the downtown restaurants and shops. I also loved that its a super pet-friendly hotel.
