Was just here yesterday, went in to buy some usb flash drives to make recovery drive, shelves were almost bare but did find 3 32g drives. Checkouts were stacked, maybe 10 people in line and apparently having issues with purchase/returns with customer. Older gentleman in front of me after no line movement in 5 minutes decided to leave, I tried to be patient and once one register completed his transfer decided to close his register leaving just one with like 8 people in line and that one is still struggling with whatever the issue is. There were like 9 employees just strolling about the store, at this point and after maybe 10 minutes waiting I just left. Ended up buying them on amazon way cheaper, this is exactly why brick and mortar stores are going under since employees just don't care.

I have been very happy with the purchases that I've made here. Other not going to be carrying physical media soon its great for electronics and appliance needs.

It appears that best buy is going out of business. A lot of the shelves were barely stocked. The item I went for was an over the ear pod.

Best Buy in Dover, Delaware, provides a mixed bag of experiences, leading me to give it a fair three-star rating. While there are commendable aspects to the store, there are also significant areas that need improvement.Firstly, the positives: the staff at this location are friendly and helpful. During my visit, their customer service skills were apparent, especially in the way they managed to maintain professionalism under pressure. A specific instance worth mentioning is the excellent job they did with my radio installation. Despite the challenges, the end result was satisfactory.However, the major downside of my experience was the noticeable understaffing. It significantly impacted the service speed and efficiency. For instance, my radio install, quoted at 30 minutes, ended up taking three hours due to the tech being the sole person running the entire install section. This kind of situation not only puts undue pressure on the staff but also leads to delays and a less-than-ideal customer experience.Additionally, the store itself feels like it’s in need of an update. Compared to other Best Buy locations, it falls short in terms of modernity and overall ambiance. An updated, refreshed look would greatly enhance the shopping experience.On the brighter side, the store offers a decent selection of products at good prices. The variety meets expectations, and the competitive pricing is definitely a plus point for budget-conscious shoppers.In conclusion, while the friendly staff and good pricing at Best Buy in Dover are noteworthy, the issues of understaffing and the need for a store update cannot be overlooked. Improvements in these areas could significantly elevate the overall customer experience. As it stands, it’s a decent option with the potential to be much better.

Not impressed. Walked in, the person stationed at the entrance said nothing, I looked and walked around the whole store trying to find out where the cell phones were displayed, not one person offered help, even though it was not busy as it was late Monday morning. Every time I did pass an employee they looked the other way. Finally found the cell phone display but did not see the one I was looking for. I might have asked but I did not feel like walking all over the store again for someone who might be willing to answer the question. So I left, guy at the door doesn't look up, figure he was on his cellphone.

Scheduled appt for a phone battery a week in advance and when I drove to store they didn’t have the battery and said no clue if they would ever have it.

Purchased LG - 77" Class B3 Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV on 19 Dec and it was delivered and setup by Geek Sq on 21 Dec. Customer service was great in store and setup by Geek Sq was quick and painless. TV looks great so far.
