Cape Henlopen State Park is a great and beautiful place to explore with something for everyone. It features a nice beach, hiking, and biking. The park has a great museum and artillery park at Fort Miles, with huge artillery guns, a tower to climb, and old army barracks. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, ideal for watching sunsets and waves. The property offers many things to see and do, including picnic areas, a playground, and bathrooms. It is dog-friendly. Note that the walk from the parking lot to the beach can be long.
