Cape May Point State Park is a nice place to visit with a beautiful lighthouse, nice trails, and views. The beach is clean and never too crowded, though swimming is prohibited. There are clean restrooms available. Visitors love the nature trails, where they can get close to swans and ducks and experience different things. It is free to visit. There is not much shade, so bringing water is advised. Dogs are allowed in the off-season. Staff members are often available to answer questions.
Free parking...shocker...great pick nick shelter, the lighthouse is fun and the beach over the hump is wonderfully empty....see ghost crabs and dolphins

A little treasure on the point of the pensulia in Cape May. Very quite. A lot of parking. A lot of nature trails. Plenty of spots on the beach. We'll worth the visit.

This was a beautiful spot a bit of a distance from the peak of Cape May tourist hub. I recommend it for a nice, quiet(er) sanctuary. Dog friendly. Beautiful spot to go for a small walk and stretch your legs. I noticed people on the light house, but did not go myself because I brought my dog.
