I would give Walgreens negative starts if I could. The staff tries but Walgreens does not support them. They are understaffed and take forever to fill a prescription due to being backed up all the time.

Had one of the most problematic prescriptions sent over to Walgreens. The pharmacist as well as Linda, who was helping me at the drive-thru this evening, could not have been more informative, patient, and friendly. I can't express how much I appreciate all they do.

Quite a confusing Walgreens. I had to walk around a bit to find what I needed. The setup just doesn't make sense. Employees are friendly enough, but nobody on the floor to ask for help. I would still go back, but only if I don't need to get something in a hurry. Otherwise nice place.

Iām writing this review in hopes that it saves you from having the same horrendous experience i did.
iām here for vacation and got sick with pneumonia. there was a mixup in where my prescription was sent. i was met by tiffany (the pharmacy manager) where i asked what i needed to do to transfer it to a closer walgreens where i was residing. she told me that i needed to call the walgreens i wanted it transferred to in order to begin the process. her attitude was distasteful, but i said nothing but thank you and walked away. the hospital said i wasnāt able to have the medication transferred because it had already been filled at this location. i had gotten very ill shortly after so sent my mother to pick up the medication asap. my mother was met by Tiffany, who told her they cancelled the prescription fill because i had wanted it transferred, which is something she should have communicated to me, but she didnt, so i was unaware. after my mother was met with the same distasteful attitude where Tiffany placed the blame on me for not waiting, Tiffany told her that we were no longer welcome to have our prescriptions filled there and that she would not be filling them. i immediately called the hospital i was prescribed the medications at, notified them of the dilemma, and they were filled. come to find out, one of the medications (an inhaler) was misfilled, due to their negligence. i called the next day and asked to speak to Tiffany, where i was met by a stuttering pharmacist who told me tiffany was not there. two minutes on hold later, Tiffany answered the phone. I told her about the medication being misfilled and she said verbatim āi didnāt fill your medicationā.
During these physically and mentally draining interactions, there was zero accountability when making a medical mistake, which is 100% your fault as the overseer of all your employees. Just because youāre in a position of power, it doesnāt give you the authority to play with peopleās health. Tiffanyās sense of professionalism is seriously distorted. I do NOT recommend ever getting a prescription filled here if you are going through a medical emergency.

Went to pick up a prescription for my Mom at 8:15pm and it was closed. Itās supposed to close at 10pm. Asked an employee who said they always close early on Saturday but canāt figure out how to update the website? Wasted my time driving over!

This pharmacy has really become a pain to deal with lately. Iāve been using this pharmacy for quite awhile, but lately they just canāt seem to get it together. I recently had a prescription for a cough medicine that I was told was on back order, and then I was told that it simply could not be filled and that I could contact another Walgreens to see if they could fill it. The other Walgreens told me the same thing. Two weeks later I happen to check my Walgreens app, and saw that it had indeed been filled, and was ready to be picked up and would be held for three more days. I go over to pick it up, and there is just a bundle of chaos with the person trying to find it, only for some girl to yell out that she already pulled my prescription. She then proceeded to yell out that it was more than six days old and had to be pulled. I then had to explain AGAIN that it was only recently filled because of being on back order and had to show them that my app said that I had another three days to pick it up. Then they act like Iām the weirdo in the situation. I always receive a text message stating that a RX is ready to be picked up, but for some reason I didnāt receive a text message for this cough medicine. It was a controlled substance, and I canāt help but wonder if there was some foul play involved of someone trying to make it so I didnāt know that it was filled so that it could be given to someone else, stolen, etc⦠If I had not coincidentally looked at my Walgeeens app, I would never have known it had been filled.
Then yesterday I got a text message stating a prescription was ready to be picked up. I go over and pick it up, get it home, and my husband pulls it out, and itās a prescription from someone that isnāt even his doctor anymore, and hasnāt been for more than a year. He is no longer in this medication and hasnāt been for a new doctor and a different medication to replace what was from the old doctor. How the prescription even was still in their system is beyond me. I took it back and they would not do anything. So my insurance was charged for medication that my husband canāt even use and the person that waited on me was pretty flippant about it.
I am definitely going to be using a different pharmacy from now on.

This Walgreens is one of the busiest pharmacies and is not organized. When I first moved here, there was no wall set up behind the counter. Before you could see one person helping the long line of people trying to get their prescription. And one person at the window (Drive Through) while there were 7 people filling prescription!! If I Managed that Pharmacy I would make 2 or 3 of the people filling all the prescription to come from behind the wall and help get rid of all the people in line waiting All the time. Then go back and finish filling prescription!! This is the 5 Ponts in Delaware!!

Anyone who gives this location less than a five-star rating doesn't understand the work that people do behind the scenes to take care of their patients. If more patients had more patience with people the world would be a nicer place. Thank you to all of a staff to work very difficult hours to support the people of this community.
