“People are so quick to complain when things go wrong but often fail to recognize exceptional service. I always try to thank people in person for great service, often speaking with their managers to make sure that they get proper recognition. I rarely write a review though, but I am gladly making an exception for Abraham, the manager of this Penske Truck Rental location on S. Main Street in Newark, DE. Before starting to type this review, I noticed that they have an amazing 4.3/5 rating after 62 reviews, with the overwhelming majority being a pefect 5 stars. After my recent interaction with Abraham, I can see why.
His courtesy, kindness, and professionalism were all off the charts. Though this was my first interaction with him, he made me feel like a regular, valued customer and went out of his way to assist me, even doing some things that were clearly over and beyond even what is typically considered to be excellent customer care. It was a real pleasure to meet someone like this that not only is excellent in the way he conducts himself businesswise, but is so natural and nice that you get the strong feeling that he would be a genuinely nice person to know as an acquaintance or to have as a friend...and his smile is infectious. I would not hesitate to return to them for any rental truck needs, and it is my pleasure to give this location and Abraham my highest recommendation to others.”
“Seamless experience. I will definitely rent from them again. The truck was clean and well-maintained. The additional moving equipment I added was available, and the one item that wasn’t was replaced with a substitute item and extra moving pads. The pads were clean, and well worth the price to protect my items during transport.
As an aside the Movers “Keep-It Moving” that I arranged through U-Haul were also 5 star. Arrived on time, worked non-stop, handled items carefully and got the entire move done very quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend them and using professional moving help to assist with heavy or difficult moves.
All in all a top-tier experience with this location and rhe Movers contracted through U-Haul.”

“The staff at this location are always so friendly and helpful. We have rented from this location a number of times, always with great results. My most recent trip involved an extended rental but then had complications and a change in return date. They even worked with us on what was supposed to be a prepaid, nonrefundable contract when my elderly travel companion had to be brought home suddenly. Real human beings with a great attitude. Five stars!”
