“The owners are candy-experts, and make the taffy and many other items themselves. What they don't make is top quality, too. I am especially fond of the Asher's of Pennsylvania caramels, both dark & milk chocolate. Nice that one can buy just a few at a time, as there is no 1/4 lb. minimum. Everything here is fresh & delicious. The owners and their employees are all lovely people. Whatever you remember fondly about Dolle's which formed the corner of Rehoboth Avenue with the boardwalk is available here, as it's the same company and the same family. Often closed from New Year's until just before Valentine's Day but otherwise great about being open 7 days/week even in the off-season. Longer hours in the summer but opens at 11 am in the winter months.”

I am literally a kid in a candy store every time I go into one of these stores. Everything looks so good it is so difficult to choose.”

“It was different than I was expecting, smaller and a lot of packaged candy as opposed to bins. Lots of cute stuffed animals around 5-15 dollars mostly. My kids all chose a stuffy and one type of candy and left full of smiles. The staff are laid back and good with the kiddos.”
