“The first few times I went here (back in 2019) the workers were subpar and kind rude and made you feel unwelcome. And a little of that is true today (2023) but they do have some exceptional employees starting with assistant manager Alicia and a few others. Alicia is great! She’s friendly, helpful and great to sell with!The prices here are a little all over the place. Like somethings that are in worse condition and priced higher then nice looking things. But brands may play a role in that not sure what their pricing structure outlines. But I would say generally fair prices and selection. I mean even gw has grossly increased there prices and mostly is selling trashed items. So I’d much prefer to shop here where items have been hand sorted and selected.”
“I absolutely love this Plato’s Closet. I sell my stuff here all the time- they are super friendly and they always take so much of my stuff! They have so many awesome name brands for so cheap! I found a pair of Uggs with TAGS still on it. I will always come back here!!”
“I love this location! My favorite location to thrift in Dover hands down! Everybody is always friendly and I always leave with something at a great price! I really love how they have 2 colors for half price and 1 color for 99cents!! Goodwill could never!!!”

“I just have to say the woman who worked the register Sunday 7-17 around 5pm deserves so much recognition! She is wonderful! She's the reason I prefer the smyrna location instead of middletown that is close to me. Plus the store is set up nice. But the staff here is so much nicer especially this woman . I wish I caught her name! I'll get it next time. She is amazing!”
