The Sheraton Suites Wilmington Downtown is a nice hotel in the downtown area, described as a solid and reasonably priced option. The hotel is old but comfortable, with rooms that are tidy, clean, very nice, and a consistently comfortable temperature. Many guests found the bed comfortable and liked the view. The lobby feels modern and welcoming, and the staff is friendly with good service. Its location is well-located, with many very good bars and restaurants at a walkable distance. However, there are some noted drawbacks. Parking is a problem to find free around the hotel; the parking garage is locked for safety but is tight to get into. The walls are thin, and hallway noise can be heard, as the suite door doesn't block sound well. Some areas need updating, like the bathroom, and the sofa pullout couch was noted as nasty. The breakfast could use more variety and is an additional cost. Despite some expectations from reviews, many guests were pleasantly surprised and had a good experience with no major issues, finding it more than met their needs for a stay.
Rooms were average. Ours had some broken items the soap dish in the shower was hanging off so you couldn't put anything on it. Couple of fixtures in the room didn't appear to be secured to the wall. People were friendly though.

Parking was $24 to park with them, street parking was free thanks to it being a weekend.

Super nice, spacious rooms. Were spotless upon arrival. Front desk staff was very nice. The parking underneath the hotel in the parking garage was just ok... we had to wait like 30 minutes cuz a guy on a motorcycle had an issue getting in which was annoying. On top of that the parking garage is super tight and cumbersome.
