“We had our father’s memorial celebration at Bellevue Hall and it was truly a lovely event.
The space is beautiful, inside and out, and the team was kind, organized and supportive. The food was also delicious. We feel grateful to have honored our father there and wish he had been there to enjoy it, too!”

We highly recommend checking this place out. Cost effective, bring your own catering as a large kitchen is available, has ample parking (not at the house use the lot by the bridge)and beautiful property for strolling.”

“Jules, the manager at Torbert Street Social, truly exemplifies what outstanding hospitality looks like.
After our company hosted a corporate happy hour event, I realized, far too late, that I had accidentally left my coat and, even worse, my car key inside the venue after it had already closed for the night. The next day, a bit stressed, I went to the nearby restaurant that’s part of the Torbert Family of Restaurants to see if anyone could help.
That’s when Jules, the manager over our corporate happy hour, stepped in and completely turned the situation around. Without hesitation, she went above and beyond by unlocking the venue so I could retrieve my belongings. Not only was Jules incredibly accommodating, but she also handled the whole situation with warmth and humor. We even shared a laugh about my gaffe.
It was nice to encounter that level of genuine kindness and willingness to help. Torbert Street Social is lucky to have Jules, a dedicated and personable manager leading the way.”
“We went for Designer Bag Bingo. The hall was nicely decorated with a stage, bar to the side and a kitchen in the back. The building, including the bathroom, remained clean.”
“We attended a wedding there yesterday and they did a perfect job. The staff worked very hard to keep everybody moving and comfortable even when we had to bring an outside wedding into the inside due to rain. The staff were friendly and attentive. The location itself is stunning with many rooms within the house to spread out as well as outside on a beautiful grass lawn with lit trees and plenty of seating inside terraces. What an amazing place.”
“I hosted a baby shower in this beautiful event space. It was the first place I planned to visit and I booked it with Amanda immediately. Tiffany, Erin and Alex were wonderful and made us feel extra special. The food was amazing and plentiful. I will definitely use them for future events.”
“Okay event space. Overall the space was clean and well maintained. Staff helping was terrific. I could hear ambient noise (music) coming from the other part of the building so that was distracting. Parking is decent but not 100% for space capacity.”
“I had a birthday event at the Catch 2.0 located in Claymont, DE. Overall, the venue is great and Natasha and Ms. Helen were great to work with from the booking process through the day of the event. They answered any questions or concerns promptly and the booking process was easy. I can’t speak to the other catch locations, but this particular location was convenient, easy for guests to find, and has great parking!”

“I went into the Cinemark 10 today. Initially after reading the refuse my family was hesitant to go but with the deals offered and the snack options for the little ones. We decided to head over for an early matinee. I can say I had a very pleasant experience. Yakira who gave us our ticket was extremely helpful and told me about the deals offered with the membership and Peyton was kind and helpful. Overall we enjoyed the movies and the service.”

“Super nice, spacious rooms. Were spotless upon arrival. Front desk staff was very nice. The parking underneath the hotel in the parking garage was just ok... we had to wait like 30 minutes cuz a guy on a motorcycle had an issue getting in which was annoying. On top of that the parking garage is super tight and cumbersome.”

“My son had his Wilmington U graduation here yesterday. Beautiful establishment, plenty of parking, as well as the staff was very helpful when directing the event. Beautiful scenic River Walk in the back of the building filled with plenty of shops and eateries.”
