“Beautiful staff’s outstanding service, great food delicious ! Great event manager
Mrs Julia Shaw…Best place ever to book your family or business events ?”
“THANK YOU!!!!! Words cannot express how absolutely perfect Sophie and Greg’s wedding was thanks to our amazing event planner SaraAnn and the JAM event team. The entire event - including the gorgeous florals (shout out to Buttercup) - were beyond our expectations. EVERYONE had an amazing time and super complimentary of every aspect of the day - yes - even the hail storm - mainly because the JAM team managed it so well!
Kudos and heartfelt thanks for delivering on every promise and helping create a truly brilliant wedding day. Your team’s professionalism, attention to detail, friendliness, and genuine kindness made all the difference and did not go unnoticed by us or our guests.”
“We cannot express our gratitude enough to Sydney and Mike. We hosted a celebration of life for our brother Brendon Milne May 16, 2026 who loved history and woodworking. The facility was absolutely perfect!!! It allowed for an indoor and outdoor serene relaxed environment. Those in attendance expressed the how it exemplified the heart of our Brendon.
We highly recommend checking this place out. Cost effective, bring your own catering as a large kitchen is available, has ample parking (not at the house use the lot by the bridge)and beautiful property for strolling.”
“My wife and I recently had our wedding, and it was truly the wedding of our dreams. This venue was perfect in every way possible, and we couldn't be happier. Many people left their saying it was the most beautiful and fun wedding they had ever been too. So glad we chose this place for our special day.”
“We went for Designer Bag Bingo. The hall was nicely decorated with a stage, bar to the side and a kitchen in the back. The building, including the bathroom, remained clean.”
“We cannot say enough great things about the Brantwyn/DCC venue and team. From the very first visit we felt comfortable - Kayla was not pushy or sales-y, and the entire process seemed like a well-run machine. Kayla is the absolute best; she always answered questions in a timely manner, and she's super accommodating and detail-oriented. Brantwyn is such a beautiful location, and the fact that we could get ready upstairs and truly spend the entire day there was just icing on the cake. The intimate setting was perfect for our smaller sized (86 ppl) wedding, and we were very pleased with the separate dance floor room, as guests who were not dancing could actually visit and carry on conversations without all the noise. Food was top-notch - many guests complimented the quality and variety of entrees. The kitchen was very accommodating with food allergies as well. Staff members were all lovely to interact with. Even our vendors were extra excited to work with us when we mentioned our venue was Brantwyn. Highly recommend!!!”
“Okay event space. Overall the space was clean and well maintained. Staff helping was terrific. I could hear ambient noise (music) coming from the other part of the building so that was distracting. Parking is decent but not 100% for space capacity.”
“I attended a private party here. The staff was great, the food was amazing, and the venue was beautiful. It made me wish I lived in Delaware so I could also host an event there.”
“I had a birthday event at the Catch 2.0 located in Claymont, DE. Overall, the venue is great and Natasha and Ms. Helen were great to work with from the booking process through the day of the event. They answered any questions or concerns promptly and the booking process was easy. I can’t speak to the other catch locations, but this particular location was convenient, easy for guests to find, and has great parking!”
“My kids used to go there they love it the play in the gym do all types of activities and I think It's a good place and for the ballers out there at 3:00 it's open gym”
“Celebrated my son's 7th birthday here and it was the best party experience I've had thus far!! They decorated the area with his name in lights and we had our personal concierge, that was very attentive to our needs. Barry was the Best!! We will probably be back next year for my son's 8th birthday. 10/10 highly recommend”

“This was my 2nd time staying at the Westin (both times for a work holiday party). So, a business trip if you will. And both times I had a great experience with the staff (friendly) and the amenities.
Okay so the lobby is pretty nice. Festive for the holidays and there's water too next to the elevators. Nothing much to say here besides there's space to work there if you want. It's a nice vibe. And the elevators felt solid. I have lots of nightmares about elevators breaking but I felt safe in them. Took a pic too which is cool so you can see how handsome you are through the reflective ceiling. The rooms are awesome, especially for a single Chad like me.
You can see in the pics that everything looks great: big bed (softer side imo), desk for work, cute closet to hang your clothes with an ironing board, safe and fridge for personal items, etc. The bathroom was quite lovely too. No complaints there. In fact, probably the best part was that it was unusually easy to use the shower. Dead serious. Just turn left and up for hot water, and keep it closer to off for cold water. Sometimes, at hotels and resorts trying to figure out whether the water is hot or cold is a major pain lol. The view was pretty awesome too. Even though you're staring at a parking lot and the highway it was pretty neat to see the skyline. I did catch myself staring out into the heavens for a few minutes questioning my life choices.
I didn't eat at the restaurant in the hotel, but it's there and was pretty busy when I took the elevator up to my room. Looks like good food and good drinks - a good time all around. Kinda wish I stopped by at least for a drink.
So, that takes care of the room and restaurant situation. I Uber'ed here, so can't say much about parking but the parking lot is big. The Chase Center (where my work party was held) was as awesome as I remember it; great staff, good food, lots and lots of space for dancing, partying, etc.
There's two reasons though why I'm docking a star. First, I actually heard what I'm sure were my co-workers through the walls partying it up. This was unfortunate, and given the timing, I'm pretty sure if I came here when there wasn't any sort of party, etc., I wouldn't have heard them. I say this because they were loud and I had a tough time sleeping (always been a light sleeper smh).
2nd, and perhaps most important... is the paper toilet. For whatever reason you have to reach to grab it when you're taking care of business. And this was a handicap friendly room too. Maybe it was just this room, but it was an inconvenience nonetheless.
Still, 2nd time here and I'd come here again, work party or not. Pics are attached to give you an idea of what it's like.”

“Kind of my default for an inexpensive movie experience. Food and drink are priced as you would expect, just have a meal before you go in and you'll be fine. Can't beat a $7 afternoon movie.”

“I was passing through with my husband and 4 year old and spent the night here. We had a good experience! I remember the bed being comfortable and the room being a consistently comfortable temperature. We had a 1 br suite, which was convenient with a young child, but the door doesnt block sound. The hotel was old but comfortable and more than met our needs.”
“Jules, the manager at Torbert Street Social, truly exemplifies what outstanding hospitality looks like.
After our company hosted a corporate happy hour event, I realized, far too late, that I had accidentally left my coat and, even worse, my car key inside the venue after it had already closed for the night. The next day, a bit stressed, I went to the nearby restaurant that’s part of the Torbert Family of Restaurants to see if anyone could help.
That’s when Jules, the manager over our corporate happy hour, stepped in and completely turned the situation around. Without hesitation, she went above and beyond by unlocking the venue so I could retrieve my belongings. Not only was Jules incredibly accommodating, but she also handled the whole situation with warmth and humor. We even shared a laugh about my gaffe.
It was nice to encounter that level of genuine kindness and willingness to help. Torbert Street Social is lucky to have Jules, a dedicated and personable manager leading the way.”
