The workers here are very pleasant and helped me establish an account with them fairly quickly. However the only downside was that I waited to be seen by a banker for almost half an hour because two of the bankers decided to have an on the clock therapy session that was obviously already deep in the works, prior to me even arriving to the bank. Three other bankers who were actually helping customers or doing other duties, had to interrupt two of the ladies a total of three times before they actually stopped their therapy session and came out to assist me and other customers who had been waiting. Other than that they are sweet people who work here.

My husband retired 27 yrs ago from SunTrust/Truist bank. We've had our account for 33years.
An unknown company is withdrawing money. I was told they would try to get some money back and stop payments. Then I was told another Payment will come at the end of November. It's easier change our account, or
If I pay $35. they will stop payment in December.
What a disappointment!!
After a life of severe to them, this is how they treat you.

Went in to exchange $5 for quarters and was hassled about not having an account with them. In my opinion something like this at a regional bank worth billions should be treated as a public service.

Had been going to this bank for 3 years because my boss banks there. At first it sucked many mistakes but as time went by they improved. I knew everyone and the manager. Until a few weeks ago I go to cash my check and the employee at the drive thru says she can’t cash my check but deposit it. I politely told her that I go there every week and they cash my check. So she tells me she can’t discuss the account with me. So I go yes you need to tell me what’s the issue. She tells me I’m done with you sending your check back so I go no problem I’ll go talk to the manager and she says good luck with that I am the manager.So since I know the manager I go in it was like the Twilight zone everyone new except this lady that’s been there for 25yrs. So I wave at her she takes me in her office and I explain everything so she goes she can’t discuss your boss account with you. And I go my boss? No my account. So she said that was very unprofessional of her…so all of a sudden like a raging bull puffing smoke out the nostrils comes the lady yelling at us and asks me to leave or she’s calling the cops. So she tries to snatch the check from her employees hand but I was quick at the draw and snatched it before her. So we argue then as I’m walking backwards she tries to slam the door on my face God forbid I lost a finger. So called my boss he calls the bank and she starts bad mouthing me so my boss asks what’s wrong with the check? She says the signature and he goes same signature for ages couldn’t you check call me like in the past? She kept on about me. As far as saying my account will be closed. So I go to another branch and speak to an employee that gave me her bosses email sent one and never responded. According to the other employee tells me that Manager has problems everywhere they put her. All of a sudden my account is closed they said they’d send a letter in 30days explaining that way.😩😩😩😩stay away this place ain’t worth it went back to my old bank.

Absolutely horrible service, terrible condescending attitude, not only are the raking in billions lending us back our own money with fractional banking, even the employees make you feel like a bother.. used to work at BB&T my God has this company hit rock bottom… shout out to Teller Lucy Rodriguez for insinuating I might be a criminal.

Since Covid it seems bank only has 2 workers maybe 3 and they work window and drive through not sure what type of strategy that is but it sucks. On a brighter note Lisa and Lucy were excellent. Very friendly and professional. Lisa provided different options that are available to me with my account. Thank you Lisa for dedicated service.

I recently sat down with a representative to inquire about some opportunities they offer for small businesses. The staff was knowledgeable and patient when answering questions and wasted no time in assisting with what I wanted to get done. I can’t speak for others , but I personally have not had a negative experience at this branch during any of the times I’ve stopped in.

For the past few years, I have been in charge of choosing banks for the stores that I manage, and I will always pick Truist when able. This is one of the best branches of Truist that I have been to. Today, I was running behind and came in just a few minutes before close. By the time I got up to the counter, it was past their closing time. I told them that I understood if they couldn't do my deposits and change order, but they insisted that it was no problem. Lucy was the teller who assisted me. She didn't rush through my transaction or make me feel unwelcome. She asked me how business was doing and made friendly conversation throughout my transaction. She even helped someone in the drive thru after me, even though they drove up after closing. She truly embodies customer service and hospitality.

They are the slowest bank even if it is 1 person in front of you. Really need to think about hiring people because this is ridiculous 20 mins plus ➕️ every visit..

Truist is the worst bank I ever had. They are quick to make mistakes and overcharge your account, but very slow to put money back into your account. The app is horrible! It frequently messes up and difficult to read and follow your actual spending history. Often times a charge does not show up until a while later where u already spent money, which puts you in a position where you are spending money you don’t have… I will definitely be closing my account for sure. Absolutely HORRIBLE banking institution. Everything is bad from customer service to app.
