“My wife and I were wandering through the Oviedo mall during the annual art festival and were greeted by one of the owners at the Wedding Place while we were passing by. The lady was very friendly, informative and even took the time to give us a tour of the venue. There are plenty of photo op areas, a dining area, changing rooms, a dance floor with event lighting, a small kitchen and prep area, restrooms, and a few other themed rooms that are great for parties, Weddings, Graduations, Celebrations, and more. Everything is very clean, and organized. Pricing varies, it's best to call for an appointment to see all the venue has to offer and work with the owners on the details of the event to confirm a firm quote. My wife and I like that it is a one stop shop where you can get married and hold the reception at the same venue, minimizing travel and additional costs to all parties involved. The Bride and Groom also have dressing rooms available where they can prepare and be away from the main party while they prepare for their big moment. We also liked that the small kitchen in the back provides another avenue to save by having the food catered via a third party of your choice versus being required to order food from or through the Wedding Place. We haven't held an event here yet, but Nancy has mentioned the Wedding Place a few times since our visit here. We would definitely keep them in mind for our next big party or get together. If you are in the area and looking for an all-in-one venue where you can hold your next party, themed event, or Wedding than the Wedding Place might be just what you're looking for.”

“I've been here many times & they often book great bands. It's a small place, overcrowded that leaves the pit too condensed. Bathrooms are small, so that wait can be a bummer. Besides that shit, I love it”

“I had the pleasure of celebrating my husband’s 80th birthday celebration at this venue. Everything was excellent. The decorations was spot on, the food was seasoned well and absolutely delicious.
The salmon was excellent. Mac’s cheese was better than mine. And the collard greens, green beans, cornbread, yams and chicken. I will definitely be using this venue for all of my family gatherings. The service was excellent as well.”

“Beautiful lake during the day on the weekends they have a farmers market that is very nice and quiet big. They have plenty of products to shop. Its a beautiful lake to walk and see the wildlife. They have ducks and Swans and fish on the water. They have paddle boat rentals shaped like a swan that usually have a line. Enjoy your day here forsure”

“Booked a day office here , it was a lovely experience! The staff were wonderful and the office was comfortable. I will definitely do so again! My only complaint is that the access instructions were not super clear, even Google maps shows the wrong floor.”

“What a beautiful venue. We were worried about the weather but they had a contingency plan all worked out. Fortunately we didn't need it as it all cleared. So many comments from our guests about the hidden gem for an event. We had 100+ people and plenty of space. We will be using them again!!”

“We were absolutely blown away by this venue. It reminded me of home with the large trees over the outdoor ceremony space. We were also very appreciative that they had a back up plan for us when it started raining before our ceremony. Everyone kept telling us what a beautiful space it was and we couldn’t agree more! We hosted my Dad's Celebration of Life here last weekend, 50 years after my parents hosted their wedding reception in this same beautiful space. Mikaela was amazingly helpful and such a pleasure to work with in getting the reservation, layout arrangements, and all the details for our special event reservation handled! George was absolutely awesome and so incredibly helpful the day of our event! I cannot say enough good things about them both and the way they took care of us during a difficult time for our family. I had seen many pictures of this venue when I was looking for a place to host my daughter’s baby shower but they did not do them justice. The decor setup was so beautiful!!! “My husband and I had our wedding at the Capen House on April 13, and all I can say is WOW this is an absolutely perfect venue!! From the moment we had our first tour, we fell in love with this venue and knew it would be the perfect place for our intimate wedding. We received so many compliments from our family and friends about how stunning the grounds were and just how beautiful the overall space was. In addition to the beauty of this venue, they have an unbelievable team working behind the scenes to make sure every event runs seamlessly. “We toured the Winter Park Events Center while searching for Quinceañera venues for my daughter, and it's truly one of the most beautiful event spaces in Central Florida. The venue is thoughtfully designed with two main levels. The downstairs ballroom serves as the primary event space with a full kitchen and dressing room, while upstairs features a large rooftop terrace, another dressing room, and a half kitchen that works well for cocktail hours or smaller gatherings. The entrance also showcases local art installations, which adds a nice cultural touch. One thing that really stood out during our tour is the value for the size of the venue. For the number of guests the space can accommodate, it's honestly difficult to beat the pricing compared to many other venues in the area. The only reason we ultimately didn't choose this venue came down to production limitations. They do not allow cold sparkler machines, "dancing on a cloud" effects, or direct mounting from the ceilings, which restricted some of the celebratory elements we were planning. They are also strict about approved caterers and vendors, which is understandable since previous events have caused permanent damage to the facility. Because our daughter's padrinos wanted to contribute to some of the more elaborate production elements, we had to explore other options. That said, if your event doesn't require those features, the Winter Park Events Center is an incredible venue with a modern design, great layout, and strong value. For weddings, galas, or milestone celebrations that fit within their guidelines, it's absolutely worth touring.”

Lucy, who manages the venue and oversees the catering staff on site, is truly amazing to work with. She is attentive, organized, and makes sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish. The venue itself is beautiful and versatile, and the team always goes above and beyond to make each event special. I actually used Cocktails Catering for my own wedding five years ago, so I have had the pleasure of working with them both as a client and as a planner. I highly recommend Garden Villa for anyone looking for a wonderful venue paired with a dedicated and professional team.”

“I had my wedding here Sept 18, 2025 at the lake destiny location with about 67 guests in attendance. Christian was who I was working with and he was very helpful. He always had an answer for a question I had. The venue is gorgeous. Their packages are affordable, and helps you take the guess work out the planning process. They took care of the food, decorations, and flowers (including the wedding party). The ceremony space is upstairs and reception space downstairs. This location doesn't have an elevator. The food was good and they have various decor options and will even create a new idea from existing ones. Everything flowed smoothly. My guests are still raving about every and floored with how everything turned out. The day exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend them! Thank you for an unforgettable wedding.”

“My daughters had a great time learning for the first time how to ride horses. I love how they learn to take care of the horses including brushing and washing. Hope we can come back soon. Just wished the sign to parking were a bit better. The place is gorgeous and clean.”
