Post Offices
“I have been going to this post office for less than a year. Personally, once I receive good service I’d always drive back to that particular place (Page Filed post office) even if it’s one closer. Well I decided I’d give this office a try since it closer and I’m glad I did.
Every visit has been pleasant, but yesterday felt different.
I was feeling sad from missing my father, Edward Braxton (who also retired from the post office-Jacksonville). His birthday is approaching and he’s no longer with us. Being in post office temporarily made me feel connected to him in a sense.
As I’m standing in line one of the cashiers is calling the next customer saying, “welcome to heaven.”
I stood there fighting back tears, I’m watching her move quickly, thinking I’d love to go to heaven (attend her line). Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to attend her line, and the gentleman who helped me was also cool.
However, I wanted to say thank you Jazzy for the upbeat spirit you carried yesterday. The way you spoke kindly to each and every person. Even gave a little girl some positive words. You turned my sadness to happiness. If this is an example of the type of employees my father worked with, my heart smiled to know he had some loving people around him.
You really changed my mood yesterday. I came in sad and on the verge of crying and I left out smiling and laughing. Best part, I didn’t even attend your line. Now that’s called “customer service” I hope you have an amazing life.
Thank you Jazzy and post office for having such amazing people!!!”
“the only post office that's worth going to staff's friendly, small town vibe on second thought. Don't go there. Don't go there. Keep it the way it is”
