“Last week I was finally able to make it to this abc store. An hour and a half trip took us 2 and a half hours due to back ups on I-4. When we arrived, it was less than 10 minutes to closing, as they close at 3PM on Fridays. The workers were kind enough to offer us more time to shop as we had my elderly mom with us and they wanted her to have a chance to purchase everything she wanted.I love the store! This location is large, comfortable and super clean. The prices are reasonable (for food items). The food stock is good ( canned, frozen, boxed, snacks, non dairy ice cream, beverages), but the books supply is fantastic. We purchased a few items (vegetarian canned foods).If this store was closer, I would visit this bimonthly. ??”

“Canine Companies is a wonderful company. My granddaughter has to have a service dog . They are here to get paired with there dog this week along with 6 other families. The training that the handlers put into these dogs is unbelievable, we just did a outing with the dogs to a business mall . The dogs stayed focused with the person they are paired with. Loved watch them all in action this morning. I would recommend them to anyone that needs one . Mind you it takes up to 2 yrs before you can begin getting paired with a dog. But it's worth it.”

Just as California is Golden State, Florida is Sunshine State! I have two manatees that I adopted, Flash and Elaine! Now eight hundred ninety one, if this stays, of updated comments!”

“This is my favorite place to drop off donation items after cleaning the house. They come to your car with a cart and take everything. Then give you a receipt to go. There is a pull in area and you barely have to get out.”

“The Maxey Community Center is a nonprofit located in a historical building in Winter Garden. The building was built in 1949 as the Annex Theatre and used for the east side African American community. The building closed in 1962 and much later became the Maxey Community Center. This is where the Orange County Community Action Division provides assistance in many areas for the elderly, children and the under privileged. I saw programs listed that assist with vocational training, education and assistance with job placement. I also saw that there was an office for assisting with energy bills and a nice big activity room that was actively hosting an exercise class. I was there to pick up meals to deliver for Meals on Wheels. It's a new volunteer effort of mine and one of the awesome programs running out of this center.”
