“This is a relatively new Publix sitting just off the 429 Kelly Park exit. There is just something about a new Publix, all shiny and fresh. This one did a complete makeover of the section where you can get subs, deli meats, and fried chicken. They put it in the round, and it seems to work much better. You can visually see everything, and it avoids over crowding in one specific area that would spill into other areas. They also added doors to all the refrigerated section, which I honestly prefer, as it keeps the food and dairy colder. Another unique thing to most Publix stores, a self checkout option. It doesn't make them any less Publix, but does free up some stress on the rushes. Overall, a fantastic addition to this side of Apopka.”

“Publix has become the leading name in the supermarket field here in the southeast. Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals, and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way, it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities where Publix opens a location are very grateful for a Publix opening by them.I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location for that matter and I give it five stars.”
