“I had been a customer of Publix Pharmacy for about the last 15 years. I moved here to Apopka from Deltona 4 years ago and I was using them there because in Deltona they were the only ones that actually had any medications in stock. So I just moved over here and continued. Until just recently, they've been great no problems, but it seems like it wasn't just the grocery prices that went up since the end of the year. Not only the pharmacy prices go up but their actual, I guess patient care is the best way to describe it, went completely downhill. Not only did my prescriptions cost me way more than they did last year, but they did not seem to care in any shape, way or form of giving me any help with it. So after going round and round with them, I just said that's it, I'm changing pharmacies. I am so grateful I did. I found Apopka Care Pharmacy and not only did they take care of me, they actually went out of their way to make sure I got the medication that I needed as quickly as they could. No excuses, no we'll get to it when we get to it. They actually cared about whether or not I got the medication I needed. I highly recommend them. I had heard that it's best to go with local pharmacies and now I see why. I just wish I had changed a lot sooner, it would have saved me a lot of pain and heartache. And money, too.”

But honestly, my experience here was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed into such a friendly atmosphere. Jessie, who helped me, was incredibly kind, patient, and made me feel completely comfortable. She turned what I thought would be an awkward experience into one that exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this pharmacy and will definitely be coming back to fill my future prescriptions!”

“I’ve been going to the Sam’s Club for probably eight years now and this tire and battery department is hit or miss. Sometimes the service is awesome other times you’re waiting for someone to even acknowledge you exist. Their focus is the bays instead of the counter. I think a service bell that rings in the bays would help the counter service out and make people feel seen/heard. Otherwise you sit and wait until someone from the bay looks inside to see you standing there waiting to get a battery.”

“This is a relatively new Publix sitting just off the 429 Kelly Park exit. There is just something about a new Publix, all shiny and fresh. This one did a complete makeover of the section where you can get subs, deli meats, and fried chicken. They put it in the round, and it seems to work much better. You can visually see everything, and it avoids over crowding in one specific area that would spill into other areas. They also added doors to all the refrigerated section, which I honestly prefer, as it keeps the food and dairy colder. Another unique thing to most Publix stores, a self checkout option. It doesn't make them any less Publix, but does free up some stress on the rushes. Overall, a fantastic addition to this side of Apopka.”
