“This store is wonderful! Staff as well. Always clean and organized with good condition used items as well as some brand new. Staff is beyond welcoming and helpful. I was trying to find shoes for my toddler today and a nearby employee saw me struggling to keep him still while trying them on him. She immediately helped me calm him down and put the shoes on his feet. I wish I caught her name as she deserves recognition for her excellent customer service!”

“The woman that owns the stores is so kind and helpful. We shopped there twice in one day because we told and family about how amazing her deals were for NFL items. I will be going back every time I want more items for my team! She and the store is amazing!”
“I popped in here very quickly before it closed, i will go back when i have more time...but the ladies were so sweet and made me feel very welcome despite popping in just minutes before they closed :)”
“Skip this one and go to Arlington. Its appauling that name brands are priced high so only those with extra money can afford quality products even at a thrift store. The church calls it a ministry. I guess this church thrift store only prices some things for the entire community and brand name better things for those who can afford it. Some ministry right?! This is what I was told right to my face when asking about pricing.I've been here 3x. I was VERY impressed the first time with the prices and people. Good fair prices for a thrift store and good people working there representing the Christian church right there in the shopping center with it.However today was the third time. They stopped with the good prices. It's now comparable to Ross or Marshalls but with used products. Kind of like consignment prices but a thrift store sign. I was happy to see new things but also new price tags that LITERALLY are so expensive some of them have explanations on them! One lamp said $42 valued at $100 or $200 (I forgot). Hopes closet has good products don't get me wrong. But you may be better off hitting a Ross for something new instead. It just started this way unfortunately because I have brought in 10 people now by word of mouth in 3 weeks to see this store that had good products with THRIFT STORE prices. The first time I went they wrapped my breakables like they cared that my items were fragile. Now they said " we don't have much so"...and that was all that was said. I asked for an extra bag maybe? And that didn't get an answer. I was ignored. Today I mentioned the prices were high recently and the cashier snapped back, "just like everything else in this world." And then the other cashier said " we might be expensive but we're worth it!" I mean ok but isn't this a ministry for the community with items that are donated? For everyone to be able to get quality items affordable regardless of a brand? The joy I had in my heart that there was ACTUALLY a church that had a nice thrift store for the community and werent in the same category as other stores as far as pricing, representation, and doing this for their community with a good heart. There are increasingly items with no price anywhere. There were so many without a tag and others with "valued at" as an actual explanation for the price gouge. I guess the church needs money but it's honestly just a guess bc I don't know why this is happening now. I was so disappointed. No hard feelings here just a big disappointment. I even had a price check from the manager on something I thought for sure was just written sloppy and not the actual price. A small cutemore mature african american woman came and said that yes that was the price while the cashier said, " I don't know why is it the brand or something? " No answer from the manager. Just a nod about the price and off she went. But there was literally NO brand on it. There were used watches at $25 a pop up front and I didn't even ask if it was the right price I just asked if it was a number or dollar sign on the tag and then the other cashier said it's probably the brand. I had never heard of the brand but ok. I just put it back. They do have new items but they are marked as new. There are signs that say dishes sell as a set. But then other sets you have to buy each different part of the set at $4-$10 for 4 pieces on at 20 piece set. More and more stock will continue to accrue. Because while I was checking out 3 people in front of us asked if the prices were right and then said they didnt want them. I turned to my friend and said it's not just me. Sad. Unfortunate. Oh well. The snotty response I got after mentioning they were more expensive now said it all. I was told yes they were expensive but there was a good cause but not what it was, and I was told everything is expensive so ? I don't know it seems all name brands for every question of high prices. I consider Walmart and Ross at these prices. But it's not used.”
“Well run, clean, beautifully displayed ever changing collection of thrift finds. Engaging children’s area and craft room make shoppinghere successful and fun. I’ve found many of my current favorites at this site!”
“I had a very good experience tonight at the thrift store. I didn't realize I had stayed later than the closing time and the staff were all very patient and kind and never rushed me. There was a great representation of kindness and respect and compassion. The employee who helped me was Ayanna. She was very kind. The clothes were all well organized and it was color coded and easy to find. Thanks for the great customer service! JB”

“Best Salvation Army around! EVERYTIME I come in to this location, staff greets me with a big smile and a wave. Let me name drop some of the many employees who stand out to me. There is an employee by the name of James that works at this location. He’s such a great employee who is always very helpful and friendly. I’ve worked in the customer service industry for years and I’m so impressed with his incredible customer service. Another employee that stands out to me is miguel. He is always very friendly and outgoing. They both deserve a raise!!! But all in all this Salvation Army is amazing. All staff is so sweet and the store is always kept incredibly clean. By far my favorite Salvation Army in the area!!!”
“Alright, buckle up because I'm about to take you on a thrifty adventure, Clemson style! We're talking about Goodwill in Jacksonville, Florida, where the deals are as plentiful as Dabo Swinney's playbook and the finds are as surprising as a trick play on a fourth down.
Walking into Goodwill, you're greeted with more colors than a Florida sunset. The place is as organized as a quarterback's playbook, and let me tell you, the staff are friendlier than a tailgate party. They've got everything from A to Z, and if you're lucky, you might just find an old Clemson jersey to show your Tiger pride!
Now, I know what you're thinking, "Is shopping at Goodwill really a touchdown?" Well, let me put it this way: finding a deal here is easier than scoring against our rivals on home turf. I found a vintage leather jacket that made me look cooler than a cucumber in a bowl of hot sauce. And the price? Let's just say it was less than a concession stand hot dog at halftime.
But it's not just about looking good, it's about feeling good too. Every purchase supports job training and education, so you're basically throwing a Hail Mary for the community every time you shop. It's like cheering for the Tigers – you just feel right doing it.
The kids' section is a treasure trove, too. I picked up a board game for family night that was missing one piece, but hey, improvising is part of the game, right? Just like when Dabo pulls out a surprise onside kick, you gotta be ready for anything.
And let's talk about the book selection – it's like the library of a retired philosophy professor who also happened to coach little league. Eclectic, educational, and entertaining, just like a post-game press conference with ol' Dabo himself.
In conclusion, Goodwill in Jacksonville is the MVP of thrift stores. It's a place where you can score big, save money, and support a great cause. So next time you're in town, drop by and tell 'em the corny dad who bleeds orange sent you. Go Tigers, and go Goodwill!
