“The woman that owns the stores is so kind and helpful. We shopped there twice in one day because we told and family about how amazing her deals were for NFL items. I will be going back every time I want more items for my team! She and the store is amazing!”
“Ladies and gents, good, old fashioned thrifting is alive and well. What a fantastic place! We live a little far, otherwise we’d be here every day! I shouldn’t be reviewing it JUST because I loved all the things in there and I want them all to myself, ugh! Lots of vintage goodies for reasonable, thrifty prices. It’s very organized but certainly no department store displays, so be willing to dig for gold. The folks here were also extremely nice and helpful, which is unfortunately a rarity nowadays. Anyhow, I’m obsessed, and y’all will see me come back… probably way too often.”
“So very clean and organized ? Even the temperature was perfect. They do right by this shop and have very decent pricing making it affordable for the entire community. Good quality items and so much cleaner than beach blvd. This one has actual fair thrift prices not like beach blvd one that thinks it's a consignment shop and prices items by brand. I don't know how they are even in the same "ministry" but this one location in Arlington is by far less expensive and isn't trying to only offer better products and brands at crazy high prices. I'm surprised they get away with a thrift store name over there on Beach Blvd. Arlington location organizes toys and they aren't all over the floor to step over and trip on. Dishes are nice. Tea sets that are actually cute. Clothing is organized by size unlike beach blvd has it set for sized clothing but no one does it that way over there. Skip the beach location it's gone up on prices making it comparable to Ross or Walmart. Just come to this location in Arlington. It has stayed affordable and they don't price gouge like its not even a thrift store. It's unfortunate the other location does because they both used to be great and didn't make name brands more expensive so even those without a lot of money could get quality items too. Arlington keeps this fair for all to be able to get what they need. Beaches seems closeer and closer to needing to change their thrift store tax bracket.”
“Helping Hands is exactly what a thrift store should be: nice items for a fraction of their original cost. To be honest, even if you don't need to buy anything, come to this shop for a smile and a pick-me-up!”
“Much more organized than “The thrift store” Nextdoor. There was this green douche dancing outside the whole time and straight up antagonizing my dog. I went up and swung on him and he hit me back. Can you freaking believe this. Also I don’t understand but everything’s always 50% off so doesn’t that just mean it’s regular price? Very nice staff”
“Mrs. Browning only carries quality furniture. The kind of furniture that last a long time. She enjoys helping people SO much. You leave her shop with a wonderful feeling about your life, because of how you are treated.”
“I've been shopping with this store for a few decades. With that said, I am very pleased that they were able to get the new store space and join with the café. The employees, the very hard work to make it as normal of an array of the clothing, glassware, furniture, and even jewelry. Everything is displayed to make the customers feel as comfortable as possible. I can't speak for everyone, but I can't tell you thanks for the hard work, enough.”
“Great customer service, friendly, kind, knowledgeable, if they didn't have answers they found out the answers. They went above and beyond. All 3 experiences from them. To renting a wheelchair, to buying a lift chair, to delivering and setting up the chair. If you are looking for Grade A service, I would highly recommend this company.”
“I love this place! You won't find a more packed full of customers flea market in Duval! They are doing so good! The workers, venders and even the customers are just really down for earth awesome people! I didn't bring cash and the super sweet customer behind me offered to pay my $3 total to get in & for cart rental. I love going there. Shopping & selling at my own booths. The have everything you could need and want! The office staff is very helpful. They have food, bathrooms cleaned, ATM machines on grounds. Last Saturday I went and it was a excellent day from the time I walked in the gate, they only take cash, $1 per person. $2 to rent a shopping cart, the one that has those available for shoppers.”

“Store seems very well organized. It is a huge store with lots of selection. Some things seemed high and other prices seemed low. I overheard someone say “ I may never go to goodwill again…””
“The young man that helps you unload on weekends is such an inspiration! Always happy, providing positive messages too. When I told him I was recovering from chemo he gave me a hug (a very much welcomed & needed hug...well this was a few months ago, back when we could hug. Thats not happening now bc of COVID, but I’m sure he will still give me virtual hugs) He’s such a delight.”
“This is by far the best Goodwill I’ve ever been to… even though there is a lot in Jacksonville… I love coming to this Goodwill store. It seems the staff in this store have been here forever. It feels like family when I come here. Rebecca the manager is so pleasant it is evident she loves being here! She always welcomes everyone when they walk in the door like it is the first time we’ve ever been here. Even when I don’t need to buy anything I come here just because I know I will have a smile on my face when I leave.”
“I grew up coming to this thrift store everything is now 50% OFF and they have dollar clothes racks!! Omg people are so nice and they always have very nice stuff whether it's furniture dishes books sheets clothes just so much stuff”

10940 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville“Best Salvation Army around! EVERYTIME I come in to this location, staff greets me with a big smile and a wave. Let me name drop some of the many employees who stand out to me. There is an employee by the name of James that works at this location. He’s such a great employee who is always very helpful and friendly. I’ve worked in the customer service industry for years and I’m so impressed with his incredible customer service. Another employee that stands out to me is miguel. He is always very friendly and outgoing. They both deserve a raise!!! But all in all this Salvation Army is amazing. All staff is so sweet and the store is always kept incredibly clean. By far my favorite Salvation Army in the area!!!”
“Bought a 500 dollar printer for 42 dollars. Used but works great. This place is hit or miss. They sell used office chairs for 50 bucks when the new one costs 80, and they sell stuff that costs hundreds for dirt cheap. Overall it's worth checking out”
“The staff is always friendly and helpful here. This is one of my favorite Goodwill locations because it's always clean and well organized. They do not carry a lot of furniture, but when they do have some there, the prices are always really good for what you are getting.”
“What do people expect when they go to a drive thru DONATION CENTER? Then they give it a bad review because they cannot shop there. Well my experience was great. The attendant was helpful and engaging.”
“I am a regular there. I love that store, I love the friendly staff but everytime I go there I tell myself just go in get what your looking for and go but that almost never happens I always find great stuff. Absolutely ? my favorite place.”
“LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!!! Literally something for EVERYONE in the family! Literally everyone!!!! Always new merch to check out and can’t beat his prices! Again- LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!!”

“This place is well organized. Clothing is arranged by color. Items on shelves are placed neatly where you can see what's available without having to move things around. I bought a blouse. It smelled like it had been freshly washed.
The staff was friendly.”
“My case worker is doing a great job along with the other staff in helping me find housing. The other staff from the kitchen to maintence are professional in there job , great place to be while transitioning to housing.”
10AM - 5PM
9742-1 Old St Augustine Rd, Jacksonville“This is my holy grail of thrift stores in Jax. I hate that I’m writing a review and not gatekeeping it, but the kind staff asked bicey because some people are so miserable as to leave a review, what’s more a bad one, for a thrift store tryung to do good. The staff has never bern anything but sweet and helpful to me, even helping move furniture and holding it as well! These people and this place are the best.”

“Alright, buckle up because I'm about to take you on a thrifty adventure, Clemson style! We're talking about Goodwill in Jacksonville, Florida, where the deals are as plentiful as Dabo Swinney's playbook and the finds are as surprising as a trick play on a fourth down.
Walking into Goodwill, you're greeted with more colors than a Florida sunset. The place is as organized as a quarterback's playbook, and let me tell you, the staff are friendlier than a tailgate party. They've got everything from A to Z, and if you're lucky, you might just find an old Clemson jersey to show your Tiger pride!
Now, I know what you're thinking, "Is shopping at Goodwill really a touchdown?" Well, let me put it this way: finding a deal here is easier than scoring against our rivals on home turf. I found a vintage leather jacket that made me look cooler than a cucumber in a bowl of hot sauce. And the price? Let's just say it was less than a concession stand hot dog at halftime.
But it's not just about looking good, it's about feeling good too. Every purchase supports job training and education, so you're basically throwing a Hail Mary for the community every time you shop. It's like cheering for the Tigers – you just feel right doing it.
The kids' section is a treasure trove, too. I picked up a board game for family night that was missing one piece, but hey, improvising is part of the game, right? Just like when Dabo pulls out a surprise onside kick, you gotta be ready for anything.
And let's talk about the book selection – it's like the library of a retired philosophy professor who also happened to coach little league. Eclectic, educational, and entertaining, just like a post-game press conference with ol' Dabo himself.
In conclusion, Goodwill in Jacksonville is the MVP of thrift stores. It's a place where you can score big, save money, and support a great cause. So next time you're in town, drop by and tell 'em the corny dad who bleeds orange sent you. Go Tigers, and go Goodwill!

“This store is wonderful! Staff as well. Always clean and organized with good condition used items as well as some brand new. Staff is beyond welcoming and helpful. I was trying to find shoes for my toddler today and a nearby employee saw me struggling to keep him still while trying them on him. She immediately helped me calm him down and put the shoes on his feet. I wish I caught her name as she deserves recognition for her excellent customer service!”
