“When the bite point of my clutch was getting really high and I noticed the clutch was slipping while driving on 295 to a friend's holiday party I knew I needed to get the clutch checked out. I called Cottman transmission on Monday, dropped the car off in the evening right before closing, they checked it out, and called me Tuesday morning saying that they can order the parts and get the clutch fixed by the next day. I came back Wednesday morning and driving the car felt great, they gave me some guidance on what to look for in how the clutch is adjusted and asked I come in for a follow up in a few days to make sure everything is working great. The staff is great to work with and the turn around time is quick.”

I’ve been restoring my older vehicle for a few years and I am very happy to not only find an honest shop that works on older vehicles, but also does it right. They listen to me and find issues I don’t know about.
I used to go to Bridges Auto Repair and Electric in Mayport, but they double charged me constantly. Their explanation was always that they hired a bad mechanic or front desk person. Auto Clinic finds issues while fixing the problem and FULLY explains it you, without excuses. Their front desk is knowledgeable, friendly and informative. Due to this, I don’t have to double pay for labor and waste our time/money.
My vehicle is running better. My pockets are fatter and more than ANYTHING, I trust them.”
