“I was having mechanical problems with my 2005 Corvette C6 and brought it into Ortega Car Care, it was making a loud squeaking noise, and it was overheating, the change oil light and check engine light was on. They got me in the schedule right away, I had the car towed in on Monday 8/19 in the afternoon, they explained what could possibly be the issues and would check it out completely. Tuesday morning they did their engine evaluation and what they found to be the problem , was the water pump was worn out and had to be replaced , and replace the water pump housing, gaskets , and belts and provided me a detailed very fairly priced estimate, which I approved, right away. They kept me informed by text daily. They had to order one part, the water pump, and it was delivered on Thursday, Friday morning they called that it was all fixed , I went and picked it up, Paul explained all the issues and showed me the worn out water pump, they did little detailed things that matter a lot ,like filling the coolant, they replaced a blown tag light bulb and did a oil change, all at no charge, it shows what a professional caring garage they are, providing fast outstanding, helpful reliable service ,that you can trust.
As long as I have the Corvette, they have a loyal customer for life!”

Originally had my truck towed in as another shop told me the transmission needed to be rebuilt at $6800. Todd had my truck looked at and back on the road within 2 hours at a beyond reasonable price. “So I have to say that in all my years of going to a repair shop, this place was amazing. They were extremely knowledgeable. I had a major problem with my vehicle. Nobody had the part available not a dealership in the country not an auto parts store nowhere we were able to find, a company that had remanufacture parts for my vehicle they were able to install it with a day program by dealer for me and performed amazing service on my vehicle. I have to say that this place is top-notch. I would recommend this company for anyone. “Rare these days to find a place that is honest and providing amazing service. Will bring all of our future auto needs to Maxi Auto Repair given this one fantastic experience and assistance provide by Adam and team at Maxi. I was out of town for work and my 20yo daughter calls in a bit of a panic as her side (not main cover) under carriage cover on her Hyundai Veloster came loose and was dragging the ground. While the vehicle is a 2020, this would not be considered something covered by warranty (even though IMO it should not have come off as normal wear and seems like a fault with design). Dealer was going to take several days to look at it and quoted range of $400-$700 for repair. The OEM part is $132 and can get after market for around $50. Spoke with Adam who knew exactly what I was referring to and was able to get my daughter in later the same day after she was done with her classes. He was not expecting to find much and noted it would likely be a very quick fix to reattach. She got her vehicle over there and within 5 minutes the issue was resolved. Thank You Maxi Auto Repair!!”
“Cindy and Wally were great. I manage a fleet of vehicles. One of our Explorer’s developed a noise when driving. A JAX Ford dealer said it was a damaged splash guard flapping and quoted nearly $1200 to replace it. I took it to San Marco. They remounted the splash guard (loose, not damaged) but it did not stop the noise. Ultimately they found the real cause on a half shaft (took pictures and showed me) and fixed everything for $250! I highly recommend them. They are an honest mechanic’s shop that does quality work.”

“I can’t believe I didn’t find this shop sooner. I just purchased my first Porsche and like most I want to refrain from the high dealer repair tickets. When I brought my cayenne in the shop guys helped answer some questions I had which was great but they made me feel super comfortable and not like they were trying to sell me repairs which was awesome. The thing that stood out the most for me was the vast amount of knowledge Seth the owner has for Porsche and how easily he was willing to share it. Not only did he come on a 15 minute drive with me to make sure he understood what was going on with my vehicle but he educated me the entire way. I had been to the dealer multiple times to correct this issue and Seth corrected it the first time he worked on it. If you have a Porsche or any other high end vehicle I highly suggest taking it to technical dimensions.”

“This place is now my go to place for vehicle repair. I own a 15 Yukon and I have been having issues with the check engine light. I took the vehicle to 2 Dealers with unsatisfactory results.My issue was, I kept having an issue with the check engine light. I took the vehicle to one dealer and they said it was a spark plug issue, even though I had just changed the spark plugs. I agreed to let them change the plug, two days later, the check engine light came back on, with the same codes. Frustrated, I took the vehicle to another Dealer. The second dealer said it was a fuel injector, they replaced the fuel injector, 2 days later the light was back on same codes. When I talked to the Service Advisor, I asked him if it could have anything to do with the TSB ( Technical Service Bulletin), which the the lifters are known for throwing the same codes. I was told no it was another fuel injector and I should watch how I drive. I had told him that its a V8 and when I merge in traffic, I need it to get up to speed. Needless to say, it didn't fix the issue, and the light came on again, so I took it to Expert Auto.I took the SUV in, with the paperwork showing everything that I had done and told them that its not fixing the issue, and I think that it may have something to do with the TSB. Ken told me he would take care of it and check out what was going on. He actually listened to my concerns.After having the vehicle and diagnosing Expert Auto was able to determine not only were the lifters not working (this was part of the Service Bulletin that I had asked the Dealer about) but the cylinder was oblong so the piston was not creating the combustion, it needed. They worked tirelessly with my Extended Warranty and got my engine covered under warranty and finally got the issue corrected and verified it was fixed, by test driving the same way that I told them issue would happen.If you want to be listened to and not only your concerns to be listened to but diagnose the vehicle correctly. I highly recommend them.Service: Engine repair”
