“Dr Beatty took over the practice of Dr Dunham in 2003. I've been here in the area for 30 years and I've been to most vets in the area. I found that he is just as capable very experienced veterinarian more than you expect from a veterinarian. And the biggest Plus on his side is that he's not money driven. He has a wonderful staff working for him in the building is prepared for any emergency. I really can't say enough about Cypress animal hospital check them out you won't be sorry. It's hard to get an appointment. Now the snow birds are coming back, it's really hard now.”
“The moment we stepped in ... with our Frenchie, Snoozy ... The staff at the front desk welcomed us and let us know that we would soon be taken care of (there was a customer before us checking in). We were pleased to find Paw Haven to be very clean and to have a friendly atmosphere. Mark was our Tech and Dr. Sutton examined Snoozy giving her a complete check-up and administering shots. They both were very caring and professional in handling Snoozy (and us) : ) We have already recommened Paw Haven Animal Hospital Winter Haven to Family & Friends!”

“My regular vet had no available appointments. I was referred to this office. They were very accommodating and got him in quickly. Visits have been great. My dog was very agitated with an ear infection. There were wonderful. They explained the issues, the treatment, and the associated costs. On the follow up visit they took my dog to the back office (he is very protective of me). I heard them talking so sweetly to him. It was absolutely genuine, they were talking to him like he was their own pet. It made me feel wonderful. Would 100% recommend them and will continue to use them as my primary vet.”

Every single person we encountered was pleasant, supportive, and treated us like family during one of the hardest moments a pet parent can face.
Dr. Carrier took his time, explained everything clearly, and showed true empathy—not just professionalism. He never rushed us, never made us feel like “just another appointment,” and handled everything with so much care and dignity. The staff supported us every step of the way and made an incredibly painful experience just a little more bearable.
We have been to multiple vets over the years, and this clinic stands out above the rest. The compassion, respect, and love they show for both pets and owners is something special.
