“O’Reilly Auto Parts is my go-to store whenever I need parts, fluids, tools, or other automotive supplies. Most of the time they have exactly what I need in stock, which is a huge advantage when you’re trying to get a repair done the same day. If I need something immediately, O’Reilly is usually my first stop because I can count on finding it without having to wait for shipping.
My only real criticism is pricing. Some items can be significantly more expensive than what I can find online or at competing stores. I understand the convenience factor, and sometimes paying a little more is worth it to have the part in hand right away, but there are definitely times when the price difference is noticeable.
One other thing I’d love to see improve is how female customers are treated. Many women today do their own repairs, maintenance, and research before walking into an auto parts store. Please don’t assume we don’t know what we’re talking about simply because we’re women. More often than not, we’ve already spent plenty of time researching the part, problem, or repair before coming through the door.
Overall, I continue to shop at O’Reilly because their inventory and availability are excellent, but a little more competitive pricing and a little less assumption about customers’ automotive knowledge would make the experience even better.”
