Can’t thank Mark and the other pleasant staff working at this location. He was knowledgeable about any and all products being offered and always had very helpful suggestions. I love shopping at this Sur la Table and highly recommend it for having the best staff!

I am very disappointed with the class I took recently. When I signed up it said the class will take about 3 hours and it lasted less than 2 hours. It felt rushed and we didn’t even get to cook all the food in the menu. The chef cooked the shrimps course without even telling us how she made them. Same with the dessert. It was just served for us to eat. The paella was not made as a real paella is made. I felt I was making a regular rice with chicken. I’m still waiting to get the recipe by email. For the amount we paid, it is very overpriced.

I was given a gift card enough for two Sur La Table classes as a birthday present and I cannot recommend this experience enough! I took the Date Night: French Elegance class as well as Steak: The French Way! These classes were a wonderful hands on learning experience for things I was more afraid to try on my own like making choux pastry or cooking scallops! Even though I went by myself both times I made wonderful friends at both classes, everyone was very friendly and ready to learn! The chefs were friendly and knowledgeable, and they even brought more veggies over for me to chip to practice a more advanced cutting method, which I quite appreciated!

This place is the worst at booking events. Not only did they not respond to my emails. They did not confirm my corp. event and last minute I had to cancel. Their answer was. We don’t have your team names for the class and asked me to change it to the next day. This is an event that was planned and I emailed them several times for Confirmation with no response. Very unprofessional.

We went to the French Elegance class night! I got my boyfriend the class as a birthday present since he loves to cook! First off the kitchen is nice and I’m sure it’ll be even nicer with the renovations they’ll be doing. You can bring your own wine so that was fun! The chefs were incredible! They were so helpful and would check in with us along the way. They’re all so knowledgeable and have a a professional background. The food was so delicious too once it was all done. What really stood out to me was how kind they were when I got sick at the end of class due to the heat. The store manager and the chefs were so kind to help me with getting ice, water, and calming me down. I really appreciate how patient they were with me and cannot thank them enough. So if you want a fun date night experience with kind and knowledgeable chefs! This is the perfect place.

A 1 only because you could not give a zero. went there tonight with a party of 15. did NY Steak House( not quite anything remotely NY) Spent 2 hours while the chef ( WOW) ram a kindergarten class. simple easy meal that could have been prepared in 30 minutes. stretched to 2 hours of wasted time. ( never to be gotten back) The first bite lodged in my chest, went to the restroom not to make a scene. Had my son come give me the Heimlich. went back out to find my steak was thrown away. now 2.5 hours in and being rushed out the door. Apologies just we asked and no one knew whose steak it was !!! reallly, we were cooking together for 2 hours and no one on the professional staff knew a name?? Not even where peole were sitting. The fact I was cooking next to my son my have also been a clue. No not at Sur La Table. Called to voice my displeasure only to be unprofessional treated by a manager( another warm body with a title) again no attempt to make it right, no offer of another trip, zip, zero, nada!!! An absolute joke!!!!!!! I am 100% sure that my vendor paid premium price for the dinner!!!! Great concept, embarrassing execution!!! You should be ashamed!!!!!

The store is nice, but the cooking class experience with the Thai chef I did not like. I love taking cooking classes, for many years I have been taking them in many places and in a few different countries. This was the first time I made it and I didn't receive the recipe right away, I like to have it on hand so I can see what's written before I start and be able to take some notes. The chef, sometimes, spoke from the other side of the room and many times I didn't understand what to do and I got lost. When we asked one of his helpers to explain to us what he had told us to do, he came to complain to her and we were still lost with the pan on the fire. I think even the other group was lost, because they put all the dressing in the salad, which ended up looking like a soup. I don't like a lot of hot pepper in my food so I put very little in my sauce, but they take what we are preparing and put it on another table and then they don't know which group it is. When it's time to eat what we've done there's nothing to sit on.For the amount I paid you'd expect a great experience.

Beautiful store full of high-end quality products. We were lucky to meet their employee Mark there, who was extremely knowledgeable about the products and gladly answered all our questions. Really plesant experience. Definitely will be back.

A boutique shop for kitchen things. Many items that not found at other shops, but often at the higher price point. They offer cooking experiences, but often have no availability for weeks. It’s too bad they cannot figure out a way to have short cooking experiences that people can just stop in for - much like a wine tasting. The kitchen/cooking space seems under-utilized. (They should talk to me, I have ideas.)

I went to to a 5 day baking course and it was not good. We all had to share a mixer and just wait for one another. It’s not worth the money for just sitting around waiting. Since it’s a class you should get to do it by yourself and for the money it’s not worth it. The chefs were nice but bearly explained. Also it was quite boring.

we just had the best cooking class with Mark at Sur La Table. My table was great. The instructions were wonderful, and the kitchen crew was exceptional. I will go to all of Mark's classes. He was very informative and entertaining. it was a well organized class. highly recommend bringing your own bottle of wine to make it even more fun. Many thanks again To mark for such an exceptional class.

My husband and I did a cooking class last night for our anniversary. The chef immediately started complaining that her staff was running behind because someone had called out. She was pretty negative and sarcastic throughout the entire class. The food was nothing amazing and the portions are tiny, so we actually ended up getting food after we went out. We had fun, but mostly because we were together, the actual class was pretty bad overall and not worth the price tag.

Terrible Customer Experience. I purchased this 2/23 cooking class as a Valentine’s gift for my husband. We hired a nanny and drove 45 minutes to attend this class. We got there early, and the staff advised we could walk to a restaurant and buy a bottle of wine for the class. We did, came back only to be rudely informed by ChefRay that she has sent an email canceling this class, then quickly and dismissively turned to greet another customer. I was stunned, and quickly searched my email for any cancellation notice, there was none. I asked ChefRay what email she has sent and showed her that her stated email did not return any results. She insisted she had sent it and processed the credit herself. I asked her to please show me the email she sent, and she could not find an email sent to me. I then searched my credit card for the return, and all I had was a charge. ChefRay was incredibly rude and dismissive, and clearly a liar. My husband and I were starving, as it is peak season in Boca Raton, and we could not get into any restaurant without a reservation.I had planned to make a lovely evening of this with my husband, celebrating Valentine's Day, and one of our very first time's away from our baby. What a disappointment.

Overall disappointment on so many levels! We arrived on time for our class only to get the cold and sent out to roam the store. Store staff - including the manager were snooty and simply not friendly. I didn't know it was a requirement to be angry, unfriendly, unhappy and divorced to attend the course. Because I'm not sure how else to describe the student body attending our course. Course instructors were friendly - yet failed to bring the class together. I'm sort of a "Kosher Boy" so I was disappointing and nauseated throughout the even as the Bacon crackled; - Not cool - Come on now? We did meet a few - actually 2 friendly people - who we quickly paired off with. Nonetheless, everyone else was angry and insecure and required large amounts of alcohol to get them chatty. No thanks! We did manage to pick up a cute kitchen gadget at 20% off. Other - Overall grade was a D- for the event and an F+ for the caliber of people in attendance. Overall - Not a very spiritually uplifting event!

Sur LaTable used to be amazing… we still enjoy our cooking classes and chef in there; however, the customer service inside the store is going downhill. One of the female employees is vulgar and does not treat customers right. The older gentleman was very nice and polite, so all the customers (including me) decided to do the checkout with him.
