“My daughter has had such a great experience at La Petite! The staff is caring, patient, and always makes me feel comfortable leaving her there. The daycare is clean, organized, and communicative, which means so much as a parent.
Mrs. Kathy and Ms. Ally have made such a huge impact on my daughter, both with her curriculum and everyday tasks. They always make sure to properly communicate anything necessary at pick up, and I really appreciate how attentive and involved they are. Ever since moving to this location, my daughter is actually excited for school and genuinely loves everyone there. She comes home happy, learning new things, and excited to go back every day. So thankful for the teachers and staff here ?”

“My daughter's time at Primrose was a positive experience, thanks to her wonderful teachers. Their care and dedication were truly appreciated.
However, our family's experience with the administration, specifically with director Carlee Peterson, was very concerning. We were considering enrolling our three-year-old, and without our authorization, she took it upon herself to debit our account the registration fee.
Normally, the Procare app is a tool that requires parents to authorize payments for charges. But in this case, the money was taken immediately and without our consent.
When we decided not to enroll our son, Carlee refused to issue a refund. This was not only an unauthorized charge but also a clear lack of fairness.
This experience, along with an outstanding refund due to overpayment, which we are still waiting on since early May, has completely eroded our trust in the school's leadership. I urge other parents to be extremely cautious and vigilant regarding billing and communication with the school's administration and specifically with Carlee Peterson.
**Update 8/28/2025**
Leadership reached out and apologized sincerely. I received a check in the mail today. Review has been updated to 5 stars as the staff were amazing outside of this incident.”

“Absolutely loved every year my son spent at Smarty Pants. This is a family owned and operated business. When I say they care, they truly do. Leaving my son with them was easy. He ran into their arms immediately. When he left for elementary school he was well advanced and has continued to be throughout his education. I can't say enough about this family and the business they pour their hearts into. I will be forever grateful!”

“I withdre my daughter out of her old day Daycare, which was terrible and I put her in this new Daycare and it was absolutely phenomenal. My daughter is clean. I get updates about her throughout the day. It seems like she’s learning more. She’s actually counting and I really love the teachers there. owner is amazing and takes the time to make sure every parent n myself gets a report well. Everybody is super nice and the facility is very clean for the children. It seems like they truly care about the kids.my daughter sees happy when I pick her up from here very pleased”

“Management has been super helpful from application to whatever every day question I may have. Ms. Courtney has been a wonderful teacher for my little 4 year old girl. She is patient, understanding and does a great job managing her students. My little girl loves her and Mr.steven when she does her outside playtime before I arrive to pick her up. She must give hugs to everyone before she leaves so im sure she loves them very much.”
“There are plenty of daycares in Lakewood Ranch to choose from, but from what I have experienced with from both my children, there is nothing like Discovery Point! From the administrative staff to the child care staff to the chef, they care for my kids and have a true passion for seeing the next generation grow. “Highly recommend Sunny daze for your children!!!! I have one of my daughters in daycare and my other daughter in the VPK program here and our experience is nothing short of AMAZING!!! Donna is a pleasure to speak to and I know my children are safe and well cared for by all her staff. I’m from NY and everyone always raves about NY education I can honestly say sunny daze has changed my mind, FL education is far better than where we lived in NY. My daughters have both flourished here! They are learning new things everyday and continue to grow. They have a well structured, safe environment at sunny daze. I’m so happy to have my children here and if you’re contemplating sending your child to another daycare/VPK or sunny daze…. I encourage you to choose sunny daze !! “My oldest child went to this preschool since he was 2 years old until he was ready for kindergarten and we loved it! So much so that our second Son also went since he was 1 year old up until kindergarten time as well! The director is very professional, loving and caring all the way around as well as staff for each individual classroom. 100% recommend this preschool, am already planning on enrolling my 3rd baby boy soon.??”
