“I have a 3 year-old Golden Retriever who was recently diagnosed with mast cell tumor. A month post treatment of the MTC, I noticed swollen lymph nodes and went back to see the specialist who had treated him. The specialist would have required a week before testing the lymph nodes due to scheduling. I walked in without an appointment to UAC in uncontrollable tears. The front staff handled my anxiousness perfectly and gave reassurance. Dr. Lexi saw us right away and did an FNA of two lymph nodes. The results were positive for lymphoma. She personally called me with the results and expressed her sincerest condolences. Dr. Lexi will be the one who will be putting him down when the time comes. I have never felt more at home then after enduring such traumatic news from a staff who not only knew how to handle it, but also felt my pain as well. The staff at this clinic will always be viewed as family to me. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have them and their support through this terrible process. They truly love their patients and the patients' owners.”

“Wonderful staff, and Dr Doyens is awesome. I brought my kitten in for a regular first visit, and left so relieved I listened to my sister’s, and friends referral for this vet clinic. Not even a week later I had to rush my kitten to the ER Vet and continue monitoring the next afternoon at Manatee Vet Clinic. I knew my kitten was in great care and they did a great job at making sure he was getting the attention he needed as well as explaining everything to do as the owner when he came home. 10/10 recommend if I could give them more stars I would!”

Though our prognosis for our sweet cat, Coal was devastating news, it was delivered as a soft blow with kindness. The pricing was more than reasonable, and they gave an honest, fair estimate of all services that were to be done.💕”

“Coastal Animal Medical Center was my cat Atticus Finch’s first vet visit. We called late Friday and got a mid morning spot on Saturday which felt so swift. Not only was I nervous, but so was he. The moment he arrived his fearful demeanor from the car shifted to a curious peace about him which really settled my mind, too. This speaks volumes about the office atmosphere. We were greeted swiftly by Ashley the vet tech who was so professional, sweet, and not only gentle and playful with Finch but very polite and friendly to my husband and me. She played with Finch from under the doorway when he was waiting to be seen, and even let him confidently take over the room and explore. The questions were thorough and the information on pricing was honest and clear. Every option listed with up-front cost was valid for the reason we were visiting, yet every option was not pushed as we declined some options. The Dr Taryn was also just as sweet, and her exam of Finch was thorough and gentle. He wasn’t afraid of either of their touches and I could tell how much they loved and respected pets. Again, we were met with professionalism and respect for Finch and us humans. When they had to take Finch for his testing I was nervous for him, I’m thankful he was just outside the door. Although it was hard to hear his little meows protesting, their soft voices and encouragement to him were gently heard through the doorway partition and I could tell he was in comforting hands even when I couldn’t be with him. Poor Ashley even helped us stuff Finch in his carrier when he was done with testing and fighting us - and gave us a wet treat to try to help with his medications as we have never needed to give him anything. What felt like a really scary day brings tears to my eyes of gratitude for the kindness, swift work, professionalism, honesty, and sincere love for animals these two showed. I’m sure any other staff would be just as kind and we want to bring all our pets (another tabby and our lab) to this vet. When your pets can’t speak to you, you really need a vet you can trust and we cannot recommend Coastal Animal Medical Center enough. Thank you and bless you all!”
