“We've known Dr. Fridlund for quite a while. We started with her at another clinic and we we're glad to find her at this one. We've always enjoyed her cheerful spirit and her practical demeanor when we needed to discuss serious quality of life situations. She saw us through the end of life stages with our last Scotty, Montgomery when he was diabetic, deaf, blind and dementia finally set in. On an happier note, we just met with her for an introduction to our new pup, Graeme, at The Animal Medical Clinic of Gulf Gate. It was great to see her again under better circumstances and there's nothing like a pup to make everyone smile.”

“We absolutely love this vet and are so grateful for the way they care for Tank! Having such a large dog can sometimes make vet visits a little stressful, especially because Tank doesn’t love every single dog he comes across. From the very beginning, everyone here has been so understanding of him and his needs. They are always extremely cautious and thoughtful when we arrive, making sure we can get Tank into a room safely and helping us get out afterward without any issues. That may seem like a small thing, but it means SO much to us. They understand that not every dog is going to be comfortable around other dogs, and they have never once made us feel embarrassed, judged, or like Tank is a “bad dog” because of it. The front desk staff is always so kind, patient, and understanding. They make us feel welcome every time we come in and are always willing to work with us to make Tank’s visits as stress-free as possible. We also cannot say enough good things about Dr. Mac. We feel like he is incredibly honest and straightforward with us, which is something we really value in a veterinarian. We genuinely feel that his priority is doing what is best for Tank. He takes the time to explain things to us, gives us his honest opinion, and never makes us feel like unnecessary tests or treatments are being pushed just for the sake of spending more money. That level of honesty and trust means everything when you’re putting the care of your baby in someone else’s hands.Tank is a huge part of our family, and knowing we have a vet and an entire staff who understand him, respect his needs, and genuinely care about him gives us so much peace of mind. We are beyond thankful for Dr. Mac and everyone here and couldn’t recommend them enough!”

“I took my then 4 month old Pit Clyde to Dr Huber for skin mites.I wasn't sure what to expect because of Clyde being a Pit Bull but Dr Huber and his staff were awesome!They were nice to Clyde and myself and treated him like thier own dog.Dr Huber even helped me carry clyde back out to the car afterwards.And I live 2 miles away so this worked out perfectly and Dr Huber is definitely Clydes doggy doctor from now on!”

Lorrie was very pleasant and helpful to get me connected and schedule a next day appointment. Jorge was very thorough taking my dog’s medical history and clearly communicated next steps. “I was searching a long time for a veterinarian who knew the Akita breed and could perform a gastropexy and neuter on my Akita. There are not many Akitas where I live and the vets here said my Akita didn’t need a pexy. Dr. Browning was recommended by Sundara Akitas so I scheduled a consultation and drove 1-1/2 hours to meet with her. Dr. Browning was wonderful! She knows all about Akitas! She explained both surgeries in detail, covered the pre- and post-instructions, along with what to expect during recovery. I was so happy and relieved to have found an “Akita” vet. My big bear, Nobu, is scheduled for surgery soon and I am thankful he is in great hands!”

I went to Dr. Heidi Ward who ran tests and found Yuki to be healthy with no underlying problems and referred me to Dr King. He did a very careful exam, made numerous recommendations and we are thrilled with his suggestions and followup. We are so very, very fortunate to have found Dr. King. Patty Miller”

“We took our new rescue dog to see them on a recommendation from a reliable friend. We were not dissappointed in the quality and caring attention to our frightened and apprehensive new furbaby. The vet aide was kind, attentive and reassuring for it was difficult to get our dog calmed and quiet. The veternarian looked him over thorougly and gently. Her recommendations for treats, feeding, future care and training were put in to use as soon as we got home and have been remarkably adapted by him. “Cat depot is an amazing place to get a cat, the price might not be the absolute cheapest at $100 for kittens, however the cats there are treated wonderfully, receive top of the line vet care, and more tests then anywhere else around so you can be sure your cat has a clean bill of health and know any health issues they may have. They even give you 1 free vet visit within your first month, and set you up with the ability to get pet insurance right off the bat which is good because it simplifies the process. They helped me find the kitten that was right for me, I found one that seemed reasonably friendly but not too hyper, in her description they said she would open up once she got comfortable and boy did she, she is attached at the hip and aside from some teething she's generally fairly gentle but still loves to play. She has been delightful and an absolute joy. She's terrified of my dogs but is slowly warming up to them and I'm sure with time she will grow to at least tolerate the big one and hopefully like keeping my elderly Chihuahua company while I'm away. I love my Bear I wouldn't trade her for the world. Unrelated to cat depot but tofu cat litter is a god send, no dust, no smell at all, amazing clumping, if you step on it it's slightly soft rather then like stepping on Lego. It's the perfect litter”

We were met by 2 friendly receptionist and met with Ryan and Dr Christina within 15 minutes of our arrival. Their bedside manner was excellent, we felt that they truly cared for our dog. The Dr's prognosis was a pinched nerve for which she prescribed 3 medications. My wife and I were extremely happy with our visit. The dog seems happier too...... Would recommend this veterinary clinic if asked. Keep up the great work! Your service to us today really made a difference! Also, the bill was Very reasonable.”

“I brought my little Silky in yesterday. She’s had multiple UTI’s and this started at the Cat Depot. She wasn’t treated correctly there. All I can say is Dr Sherrill and her assistant were both amazing! The Dr was very clear on what was going on and how to treat her. They gave me options. I chose what I could afford and I have a follow up visit in 3 weeks for her second shot. I could tell she was feeling better last night. I highly recommend VCA Animal hospital on Lockwoodridge rd in Sarasota. Dr Sherrill was also very kind and sweet to Silky and I could tell she genuinely liked cats.”
