Whether you spend 5 bucks or $500, this is the place. It's rare for them to not have what I need and the staff are quick to help. A bit more family feel than HD or Lowes. They have their place, but normally my first stop is Ace.

I bought a 4 pack of light bulbs. One didn't work. I brought the one back to exchange. Granted it took a couple of weeks, but they pulled the receipt with my phone number.The manager told me it was their policy that I needed to bring back all 4 because she didn't want to defect out 3 good bulbs. The three bulbs at my house are good too I pointed out and they were going to be defected out if I went to get them. She eventually exchanged it out, but I'm not going back, I don't want to have to argue about an 8 dollar transaction.
