"A week and a few days ago, we said goodbye to our beloved Brisa. Though she's no longer with us, the kindness and compassion shown by the hospital staff have left an everlasting impact on our hearts. Their support during our darkest hour meant the world to us. We're grateful for the special moments we shared in that room to bid farewell to our furry family member. Thank you for being there for us.

Took my dog Stella in the other night because she was throwing up and had not peed in a day. Blue pearl was so great and was able to help Stella by giving her pain meds and drain her bladder. They were able to work with what I could afford and recommend next steps. Thank you!!

Front desk staff needs training, repetitive questions nobody sits behind the counter late night. They promised to update I had to follow up with them, then was told how busy they were but the most upsetting was the return of my animal she She looked terrible, smelled like feces, and when I mentioned the smell, they told me unfortunately, they were not a groomer. They didn’t even give me a towel, or anything to wrap her up and take her home and even though she Was not cleaned properly. They are very money driven. I hope I never have to go back there

I cannot begin to express how great Dr Coyle and the rest of her team and the staff at Blue Pearl were. Our cat had cancer and she was knowledgeable, personable, and most importantly she exercised the most care when helping us decide what to do and I never once felt like she didn't care. The staff was great as well and remembered me and my cat whenever we came in, and continued to check in after he had passed.I never felt lost or looked over during the entirety of his treatment and up to the very end they were kind, compassionate, and loving. If this makes sense at all - I didn't look forward to bringing my cat for treatment, but I also looked forward to seeing everybody. My actual vet wasn't a fraction as caring as Blue Pearl was.You cannot ask for better care and I wholeheartedly recommend them for any emergency or oncology needs for your pet.

The staff at Blue Pearl in Brandon cares so much about our pets. They provided options and even contacted a specialist that was able to see me and my pet for surgery the next day - on his day off! Above and beyond care. AMAZING!!!!!

They a missed a very basic issue that has now turned systemic:I took by dog here on a Friday after being referred by her regular vet. While they conducted the testing requested by the regular vet, they missed very basic testing that could have avoided the systemic infection she has developed. She's now being hospitalized with a more trusted provider after her health quickly declined over the course of 5 days.PS- when I wanted to revisit a concern initially pointed out by the vet here, they would not provide any feedback without having to bring her back in (after having already paid hundreds of $$) so they could "put eyes" on the very thing he noticed in the first place.

My dog had pneumothorax and needed emergency care. I was quoted $8000 for a necessary CT scan and told potential surgery could be $15000 or more. Other than the quote, they told me the humane thing to do is to put my dog to sleep in the following days. I sought a 2nd opinion and was recommended to Veterinary Surgery Center of Sarasota. The doctor there performed an emergency CT scan, for a 1/4 of Blue Pearl's price, and a procedure that took a few hours. My dog is alive and well with two functioning lungs. I almost euthanized my beloved dog because of Blue Pearl's inexperienced vet there the night I went.

I was there Friday and told to come back Sunday for dressing change. I was surprised at the initial exam fee of $165 when they examines my cat in 5 minutes and returned to give me a quote for what was done over the next 15 minutes. They said they cleaned the wound and applied dressing with antibiotics and anti inflammatory. I waited an hour for 15 minute treatment for $461. I have all the dressing at home that costs less than$15 on the high side but was charged $105. For dressing alone. When I returned Sunday I waited over an hour and was told just to change dressing was another $105 and if I wanted the doctor to look at it I would have to pay another exam fee. Exam fee means they don't just look but examine the patient completely with full body eval. A look should not be charged. While I waited, the staff at the front desk could be heard complaining about management with several uses of the "F" word being used. Did not sound like you have a happy staff which gives me concern for my pet's care. I was recommended by my vet to go to Fetch but I had always gone to Blue Pearl in the past. I was greatly surprised at the changes I encountered and may think twice next time. I did feel the ER vet Friday was knowledgeable and the vet techs were very nice but the other staff was not happy with their work. Prices for the actual time my cat was in their care was over the top. Supplies did not cost the price I was charged and the exam price means the vet makes over $400 an hour. I should not be responsible for making up any losses Blue Pearl incurs. I used to be very impressed and confident about my cats care with reasonable costs.

Called twice spoke with Courtney twice was told that the car exam was going to be $100 and then that the initial exam was going to be $165. Get there and was told by Emily that they don’t work directly with our insurance plan so they will have to bill me up front.. after the initial car exam I changed my mind and I asked for the results and I’ll just pay for the car exam she told me that the car price is $140.. asked if they can take off the $40 because that’s what I was told and she literally got an attitude with me and told me that she was doing me a favor of not charging me an exam fee and that I should be grateful. I told her I’m not paying that exam fee because my dog wasn’t examined and she threw away my text results and told me she was going to have collections deal with me. EMILY HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Will be contacting the better business bureau because this is ridiculous, if I could rate it loser I would.

We called before coming and Courtney answered and we explained our dog symptoms and she said $100 for a car test and then $165 for exam. When we arrived we called Emily said someone will be out they came did car test we asked the price again to confirm and Emily Said yes. Once the results came in we were told to come inside and she said the cost $140 and she’s giving a discount. I explained I was out of town and we called and Courtney gave us an amount and confirmed in car and Emily says Courtney has not answered phone. I asked her how would we know a Courtney works there and she just started getting rude and said she will bill my daughter to collection. I told her we can pay the $100 that we were told and she said we will just bill collection without even getting my information and also refused my pet insurance. I didn’t want to come here based on reviews but sad to say the reviews are true.

Myself and my three dogs were attacked by 2 strays I was trying to help. I called Blue Pearl to say I was 15 mins away. They were ready and took all 3 dogs back, helping me right from the car. It took 7 hours of surgery one dog at a time. They saved my dogs lives. They also helped me by providing a first aid kit and towels to control my own bleeding so I could get to the emergency room too. When I was released from the hospital my dogs were ready to come home. Staff were friendly, quick, and most importantly, knowledgeable. I can’t thank Courtney enough for helping me take care of my rabbit. The staff are dedicated professionals and I really appreciate them being open on new years weekend unlike many other places. Thanks guys.

Everyone was so kind. My dog does not do well at the vet , very protective. The doctor was very patient with her. She listen to my concerns and did a lot of tests to ease my mind. She ended up having a double ear infection and is doing very well now. I would definitely recommend them!
