Got a Groupon. Called to schedule an appointment and she said she was driving and would call me back but never did. After a week of calling and leaving messages to schedule that appointment, I drive to the place and she's out of business. She apparently could not say that over the phone. Was only able to get a refund as Group Bucks. Do not waste your time!

Brigida was so meticulous with my nails! She told me over the phone she was trying to get out of the Groupon program but would honor my Groupon. It was nice to have the feeling of the whole salon to myself. Will go back.

I would read the low reviews as they are legit. I went to my appointment and she asked to wait 20 minutes due to a flat tire. The door doesn’t have a sign if it’s a nail salon or not. I couldn’t wait 20 minutes so I went to a better nail salon that gave me a same day appointment.

Purchased a Groupon and contacted via text and called but never heard back. For someone with good reviews you would think the communication/customer service would be a little better. I understand she is probably busy but no response at all is just rude. Cancelled the Groupon as I would rather pay full price somewhere that actually acknowledges new customers.

Just like the other 2 negative Groupon reviews, I bought her Groupon just to try it out since I'm new to the area. Made an appointment with her a week advanced and when the time came close, she texted me stating that she had some kinda health issue and told me the next week. OK, that's fine. But when I texted her again the following Tuesday, no answer, she completely ghosted me! Well, I should've checked all the Google reviews before purchasing her Groupon! Be ware, all her reviews on Groupon are positive and nearly perfect! That's just not true at all!

I bought a Groupon and made an appointment a month in advance. When I arrived I was told she should be there anytime. She never showed I called her and she said that I didn’t have an appointment. She then started texting me excuses and other times she could do my nails. I had made special plans for that specific date and time to pamper myself at the start of vacation. Anyways I ended up where I should have went to begin with King’s nails.

I don't really know how to review this place. I bought a Groupon for this salon and had many appointments over the course of 2 months and was often called to confirm with a different time that was not the original agreement causing me to have to cancel and reschedule for a time that I could go again only for the same thing to happen. By the 3rd month my Groupon was soon to expire and I was getting pretty annoyed so after calling several times and not receiving any answer I texted the owner and made an appointment via text. The appointment was made on Saturday for the following Saturday at 11am which was when the owner said she had available that day. Seeing how there had been discrepancies in previous appointments I called Thurs to confirm my appointment and time which she said was good. Saturday comes and I check the opening time before heading out which says 10:30am so I aim to be there a little earlier than my appointment and I end up there at around 10:50. Not only is no one there but the entire salon is closed and locked so I am just confused and waiting in the parking lot. I texted the owner with no answer so I call her, when I tell her my appointment is at 11 and that I am at the salon she insists that it was 11:30, when I tell her no it's not and that I texted and called to confirm she says she's on the way and can't be there for another 20 mins regardless. So I wait. She apologizes via text explaining she is stuck in traffic and in the meantime another employee shows up at around 11:35. At this point I have no idea if the person that has arrived is the owner or not so I am waiting in my car directly in front of the entrance and the employee does not acknowledge me at all until I walk up right behind her as she is unlocking the salon at which point she asks if I have an appointment. I tell her yes and she tells me to wait and that the owner would be there shortly. Being that they are only just opening now for the day the salon is extremely hot inside and I am waiting in the waiting room, 8 months pregnant while they set up and open the salon. Finally the owner shows up and gets situated and starts my service (a fill and shellac mani and pedi). She herself was friendly and made great conversation. She was fairly detail oriented and took her time, however I was the only customer the entire time. The atmosphere was very family oriented with members of the family working as well as children of the family present. However it is really just that, a family owned and operated sort of like hobby salon. Although I don't mind children, it did make the atmosphere a bit chaotic as they were young in age and needed constant supervision. The stations are messy, the polish selection and tools used are dated and minimal, the overall service left much to be desired, it just doesn't feel professional in any way. In the end I was waiting so long my feet and legs were incredibly swollen and uncomfortable. I was happy with my pedicure and only somewhat happy with my manicure- having to refile my nails once home to my preferred shape. I truly hate to leave any place a bad review and I fully understand that Groupon is for deals and this was a small family business with folks that are doing what they can to make a living so in turn I got what I paid for but I think based on the reviews I had gone in expecting something else. If you are looking for a more professional, salon like atmosphere and service I would highly recommend spending the extra money and going somewhere else. If you are not bothered by any of the above mentions and are looking for something affordable then maybe give it a shot. â€â™€ï¸ I wish them the best but I don't believe I will be a returning customer.
