GameStop is a home base for gamers, offering new and used video games, consoles, controllers, and accessories for all major systems, including retro gaming. It also carries trading cards and a wide variety of gaming, anime, and pop culture merchandise like collectibles, apparel, and board games. Customers can sell or trade in old consoles, games, accessories, and phones for cash or store credit, with the store now also buying PSA graded collectibles. Many reviews highlight exceptionally great in-person service, describing experiences as pleasant, fun, and professional. Staff are noted for being welcoming, sweet, and helpful, providing great recommendations and assistance in finding specific items. The trade-in process is reported as very quick and easy. However, the phone service receives strong criticism, described as absolutely horrid, with reports of calls not being picked up and customers being hung up on. While service quality can vary by individual employee, the overall sentiment for in-store visits is very positive, with some customers stating they would absolutely return to a specific location for a similarly pleasant experience.
The front service lady cashier is super informative, kind, and knowledgeable. I had a great time talking with her about upcoming games.

Meagan was able to process my return without a hassle after a different game stop location had issues!

In person service is super great however they’re on the phone service is absolutely horrid. I have called them several times and tried to get in contact with them and they will not pick up. I’ve been hung up on two times now. So if you ever need to get in contact with the store over the phone, you won’t be able to.
