Picked up a screw in my tire while driving. Went to see Olin Mott without an appointment hoping they’d get me in. Not only did they patch the tire, they refilled the nitrogen in the tire, then topped off the remaining tires and reset my car’s tire pressure monitoring system - all in under an hour. Highly recommend these guys for any tire related issues. And the staff is phenomenal on top of it all.

These guys are great. Had the pleasure of sitting through the Doug morning show (service writer) he is so pleasant and funny. I brought in a new set of wheels for mounting and balancing, the mechanic noticed two of the four wheels were incorrect (two different colors) Typically technicians are in such a hurry they would’ve just done the work without noticing the problem. The attention to detail was awesome. If he’d mounted the tires there was a possibility I wouldn’t been able to return them. Great job guys!

After 30 years of doing business with Olin Mott they have completely changed for the worst. I spent over $5000.00 with this company in the last 6 months. Then on 07/18/2022 I had a set of tires put on my 2020 F250. The invoice amount was $2,000.00. After picking the truck up the vibration was so bad, I immediately requested they address the issue. I was put off told no one could do a balance at a TIRE store for days. I waited and when I got my truck back it continued to vibrate. I contract Neil of Olin Mott and he assured the "High Speed" balance at the Hillsborough Avenue location would resolve the issue, but I had to wait days. This did not correct the vibration, furthermore I brought to Neil's attention that his employees choose to use my dashboard 110 outlet and blew the fuse, left the access door open, and now the engine light is on!!!!! They have now had the original installation, and 2 return attempts to get the tires right. I was told by the employee Doug that they could not accommodate getting the vibration looked at because 1 employee had a dental appointment. They have not to date offered any resolution, I have been put off and lied to. I am going to a different vendor today and buying tires again. I want a complete refund of all monies paid for these tires and will never use Olin Mott again.

So I bought a groupon to this place because its only about 12-15 minutes from my work place in Brandon. I live in Largo, FL. Due to my work hours and living in Largo and working in Brandon its really hard for me to find a place open on my time off. My solution is find a place close to work as most nights I work until 4pm so I could be at a place by 4:30pm. Seemed simple enough to me. Boy was I wrong. I thought well if I like them I'll just use them and it will work out. I only needed tires rotated and an oil change. I called and made and appointment for a Friday and I had to cancel because our entire office wound up with COVID. I hadn't tested yet but I kind of knew or at least suspected. Two weeks later I'm better. Third week I called to make another Friday appointment because Fridays I typically can leave work at 2 - 2:30 pm. But not that often I have to kind of plan for it. The reason I settled on Friday is when I originally called I was told they don't take people at 4:30 because they close at 5:30. I understood what he was saying and was like ok I can work this out. So I choose Fri. However, I've gone to places that close at 5:30 and they happily take me at 4:30. I just can't get to them from Brandon in time or I would. So kind of a bs line to me. When I called to schedule again the guy was like well I can schedule you but you still might have to wait. I was like why? I mean I'm calling a week ahead of time for a 2:30 spot. He argued and talked over me the entire time so much I'm not sure if dipshxx ever heard anything I was saying! He was like come on a Saturday. I can't. Why not? Its none of your business dude I can't. Why would I have to wait for 2-3 hours when I made an appointment? OH yeah someone might show up before me. So appointments do not mean a darn thing. Not sure why he is even making them. Then he was like well you might need tires or brakes. I said I don't I need an oil change and my tires rotated. I asked about balancing he wanted to charge me $60. NEVER have I ever been charged when having a service done and NEVER have I paid $60 are you freaking kidding me? At most it should be is $20. I would have paid 20-30 because of the groupon. His reasoning we had to buy weights. I said oh yea I get it. I'm thinking idiot do people really fall for that? You aren't buying them for my car and never using them again. Seriously! That is like saying here I had to buy a wrench so I have to charge you another $40 so I can use it! For every customer when the wrench didn't cost more than $10. Then he argued with me and said well you are only 15 minutes away come early and we will drive you to work. I'm like no. Not happening. First off your con on the balancing doesn't encourage me to leave my car alone with you and to come up with a bunch of crap wrong with it taht isn't wrong with it. No reason it should take 3 hours unless you have gone to walmart because they have 2 bays and you have 8. Still wouldn't stop talking over me. Because you are going to make me wait 2-3 hours because other people might come in how long do you think I'd have to wait to get my ride to work? Oh and by the way I get to work at 7 and that is when you open so what are you saying I might get lucky and get there by 8? I don't think so, so again no I can't. I won't. Plus I ride another person with me to work so no again I'm not going to do that. They lost my trust on the onset. So my question for all of you does someone need a groupon? $25 and its all yours! I will not be going here and groupon only cares about the money and won't refund me. I don't think it hurts to ask since it appears so many people actually like these con artists. EDIT: They commented that they did everything they could. They did not. They did not honor the rules of the groupon by allowing me to come during operating hours when I COULD. I'm the customer not you. NOR would they honor an appointment time, so no point in that. I was even willing to

Needed an emergency tire check in order to get to work, they said they had 7 appointments at this time. This was at 7am with the tire repair shop empty. They could have at least checked it and see if it was an easy fix.

Had a great experience! They had the best deal on new tires that I found after calling a bunch of different places. My Lucy had her nice new tires on within an hour. Very well mannered gentlemen the front desk! Definitely recommending Olin Mott to friends and family

I can not say enough good things about this tire store. I have been coming here since they were recommended to me when I got a nail tire of the car I just purchased. I most recently purchased a full set of tires that I was definitely due for. Their prices are the same as Costco and the got me in much quicker. They have always treated super well, their customer service something you will not get at one of those big stores. They have never made me feel pressured to purchase something I don't feel I need. I will definitely always return.
