Came in cause I had a nail in my tire, instead of charging me for a new tire they let me know the nail didn’t penetrate anything. They could’ve lied and sold me a new tire but were honest and let me know the nail was super small. These guys are awesome

Went for AC issues. Charged me $2100 for a compressor and condenser. Had to come back immediately after leaving because the AC was still blowing hot air and they “missed something”. Then someone informs me it might have not been the compressor but it wasn’t “ethical” for them to identify multiple issues. What’s ethical is properly diagnosing and quoting to actually fix an issue and not charging over 2 grand for something that probably didn’t need to be replaced. Cold AC lasted a solid month and now i’m driving in 95 degrees with no AC because I don’t want to pay for someone else to fix their mistake but I don’t trust them there and I’m definitely not paying them for additional repairs. Avoid. Only plus side was David’s customer service skills and offering a free oil change after they missed something the first time.

I’m a local locksmith that works with multiple pep boys in the area and provide them services. This is the second or 3rd time Ive had issues with this location. They call for us to come and tell us everything is ready to be worked on. then have you wait 3 hours because the vehicle wasn’t ready. Making up different stories asking me to wait 20 minutes and another and another etc (not to mention this is on forth of July evening) … until 2-3 hours go by and when I decided to leave and sent them a bill for 2 hours waiting time. They did not want to pay and tried to make it seem like it’s my fault. Worst place to go. Both Ben and Abel were very unprofessional. Abel kept talking from the side even though he was there and then kept stating don’t talk to me talk to Ben.. and when I talked to Ben he said there is nothing he can do, I did not provide the service even though I was told car was ready and had me sitting there for 3 hours. Don’t do business with these thief’s… they play cat and mouse and point to one another when one has said Wtvr he wanted but won’t listen or care about wasting other people’s time.. will be reaching out to corporate to get my money.

I scheduled an appointment at Pep Boys to address a slow leak in my tire. After a quick peak at my tires, I was already being told that I would probably need new tires.
About an hour after dropping off my vehicle, I received a detailed tire report via text, indicating that both rear tires had nails but were repairable. A few moments later the representative called me and went over the report, still told me I should buy new tires, which I declined as all I wanted at the moment was to repair the tires and look at pricing elsewhere so we agreed only to have the two rear tires repaired.
However, just five minutes later, I received another message—this time with a photo showing a large, fresh-looking gash in one of my tires. The technician stated that the car was unsafe to drive and claimed the only options were to replace the tires or put on the spare. They admitted this damage was missed during the initial inspection. The gash appeared about 6-8 inches long, with sharp, clean edges and no dirt or debris, raising serious concerns about how and when the damage occurred or how such a large gash could have been missed, but a small nail be located on the same tire. Especially how it was after the tires were inspected and the report was sent out with photos of the nails.
There would have been no way that with the size of this gash that I would have been able to drive over 100 miles and still have 25lbs of air in my tire.
Ultimately, I felt forced into purchasing new tires—ironically, exactly what the front desk had started saying from minute one. It left me wondering if this was an honest oversight or an attempt to meet a sales quota. The excuses were the tech was new.
I left feeling misled and disappointed in the integrity of this store. I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere if you’re looking for honest, reliable service.

Made a same day appointment to replace my tire. I brought it in off the truck and needed the old, shredded tire, ripped off and the new one mounted and balanced. I came in on time and from start to finish, was out the door in less than 15 minutes! Ben and David were so helpful with everything on the front side and even directed me to the best place to buy the new lug nuts I needed. David on the service side was done in a flash and done right! 10/10 will be back for any other tire needs!

Ben was amazing. He found the best tires for my car. Bonus: They have skilled techs who know how to work on electric vehicles!
The Pep Boys at 214 E. Brandon Blvd is the best. I have after market wheels on a Telsa which means that when I get a flat tire it can be hard to find a place that will get tires for me the same day. I have had two flat tires in less than a month. Ben helped me find a replacement tire the first time and it was delivered in 2 hours on a Friday morning. The second time, it was a Saturday and the entire team went above and beyond. Abel is amazing. He looked up my info and found the tires I needed. Ben drove down and picked up the tires. Jacob installed the tires. It was really busy, but they got it done by 6pm. I definitely recommend Pep Boys in East Brandon, Florida. They go above and beyond!

website is extremely misleading - when booking an appointment, one of the main features on the website is early/late drop off. this service does not exist, and employees do not bother to inform the customer of this. i have a screenshot of the early/late drop off instructions and appointment confirmation that this is what i chose, so i spent 20 minutes at midnight circling the store hunting for an early/late drop off box - all to find out it doesn’t exist. this is not okay. i spent 20 minutes as a young female in tampa outside circling a store, putting myself in danger. this is NOT okay. also, i booked my appointment on saturday for a basic fix, and the employees said they wouldn’t even have someone look at it till monday. it’s pathetic for a business priding itself on customer service.

Would not use these people, bought 4 new tires from them in April , supposedly put 4 new valve stems on with free install. 2 of the tires slowly leaking air, took truck back, they said nothing wrong. I guess having to add air to the tires since the install doesn't tell them something wrong

I just have to say how much I truly appreciate this Pep Boys location! Every time I come in, I feel genuinely taken care of—and that means the world to me. The entire team is fantastic, but I have to give a special shoutout to Abel. He consistently goes above and beyond, and it’s clear that he really cares about the customers who walk through those doors.
Even though Trey did a great job with my car today—and I’m so thankful for his help—I still want to send my deepest thanks to Abel. Over time, I’ve had different team members work on my car here, and no matter who it is, they’re always kind, professional, and in great spirits. That kind of consistent, positive energy speaks volumes about the leadership and the culture at this location. Abel, you and your team are clearly doing something right!
I’ll admit, I was a bit hesitant to come here at first. This location looks a little older compared to the newer one just down the road. But let me tell you, the difference in service is like night and day. That newer shop may look fresh, but the customer experience doesn’t even come close. There, you have to make an appointment for everything, and the attitudes are less than welcoming. But here? I’ve always been welcomed with a smile, taken in without hassle, and helped promptly.
So, thank you, Abel, and the entire crew, for your dedication, your hard work, and for making every visit such a smooth and pleasant experience. I truly value the care you put into what you do. I’ll definitely be back—again and again!

Great service, products and pricing! I came in with car issues and they were quick to take care of it for me, and were honest about it all. Tire prices are all over the place. Ben and Dave gave me options and details for me to make an informed decision. Highly recommend this place!

The only negative is I made an appointment for 10:30 to replace tires. I got there at 9:45 and I paid and left at 1:45.
4 hours for 3 tires when I had an appointment doesn’t seem right.

If you have a manual car don’t come here, rode the clutch at 3k plus rpms repeatedly, also asked for no test drive and they test drove it anyways excessively on dashcam. Not trustworthy whatsoever
