Overall, a decent Official Lego Store.Every Lego Store separates themselves by their level of customer service.I have had better interactions with male staff than female staff there.I have also been accused by them with a simple return; stating by them “If I open this box up, I won’t be surprised with finding empty/open bags, will I?”. It took three female employees to do a return. All while being asked condescending questions and making unjustified claims which made me upset and extremely uncomfortable. I kept my bearing while being questioned as if I was a criminal. I stated they can open up the item and verify its contents in order for them to stop harassing me. It took them half an hour to do the return. They spent 20 minutes in the back with the return item. Seemed they wanted to call my bluff. In addition to this fiasco, they double charged me by removing $200 worth of points I spent 2 years accumulating. Took 10 minutes for the register transaction. She was trying to charge me for a return item and give me a one cent gift card. I kid you not. A one penny gift card. I was unaware that I lost all my points until I stopped to get gas on the way home.I suppose this is just a coincidence, right? All within the same visit? An example of an excellent normal visit there:Male staff have been significantly more engaging. They ask detailed questions in order to assist in my purchasing needs and wants. In addition, the male staff have gone above and beyond to provide Military Veteran accommodations. Even though this particular Lego Store does not officially provide such services.Female staff members do not provide any level of service or even voice any concern on the matter. It is the equivalent to speaking to machine at self check out. It is mediocrity to the letter. I have not received any information on their part of actual aptitude for their inventory. They have to refer to a counterpart in order to get the information needed.Their male counterparts seem to have memorized every item on the shelves and have displayed significant interest in being an AFoL.It is a night and day difference and it completely befuddles me.To be fair, even Auntie Anne’s has a Military Veteran discount which is next door to them. A billion dollar company cannot offer a military discount which is trivial at best.I have only returned once since my incident with the three female staff members there. On my last return trip, I was assisted by a gentleman who thanked me for my service and provided me a polybag as gratitude. It was immensely humbling. He jokingly covered his mouth and whispered, “don’t tell anyone.” as he winked and glanced at the female staff members. I did everything I could not to burst out in laughter. The service he provided was completely unexpected. His kindness and appreciation was unmatched and something I will not soon forget. As unfortunate as this review may appear or sound bias and subjective, it has been my interaction with this location for the past 10 years that I have shopped at this store. The worst experience I had was this year and is why I am writing this review. Also I wish to praise the staff members who are exceptional to show that there are good people at that location as well.Take it with a grain of salt if you wish, but this is my testimony on my experiences there in a decade of shopping there for myself and my family.

It is always fun to browse at any age, staff is extremely friendly and help to remember that child like wonder and creativity that Lego was always known for even if many sets now are not extremely affordable.
