We had a great experience with Tampa Bay Pools. Our pool was completed ahead of schedule and with no issues. Juli gave us a great design and Eddie was a fantastic project manager.

I am unhappy with the final process of getting my pool completed to my satisfaction, after they received the full amount of the cost of the pool, I have been getting all types of excuses after multiple calls and emails with video proof to secretaries and management. The company/workers allowed my driveway to be left stained as well as the walls of the backyard. Grass that was on the opposite side of where the pool was being built which should not have been damaged and was not specified in the contract was damaged by dumping left over chemicals on the grass. When the pool was finished, the leftover concrete was dumped onto my grass, the pavers were not properly finished and neither was the screen as it was not attached all the way around the pool.

We are absolutely in love with our new pool! The project was completed in just 9 weeks, and today we are swimming. We worked with Juli early on in the process, and she was extremely helpful and professional working with us to pick the right options for our space. We received quotes from other pool companies, and Tampa Bay was the most competitive. We had Rob as our CM, and he kept everything on track and provided updates along the way. The whole team made sure we were taken care of and satisfied! We would 100% recommend Tampa Bay Pools to anyone who is looking to build their dream pool.Services: Inground pool installation

Our pool was completed by Tampa Bay Pools a couple of weeks ago. We worked with JC and Pat was our contractor. Both provided exceptional service and great communication throughout the process. There can be so much negative press about these types of projects I felt it necessary to review and say we have a very positive experience. Thanks you Tampa Bay pools!Service: Inground pool installation

We are absolutely in LOVE with our new pool! We did a lot of research before we decided to go with TBP. We had confidence that they would get the job done and do it right seeing as they are the preferred vendor for the builder Homes by Westbay. Our project was completed ahead of schedule, in just 3 months and beautifully! Amanda O. in Sales and Iris J. in Customer Care/Warranty are nothing short of amazing!Amanda was very patient and answered all of our 1000s of questions and concerns all throughout the build (even when it was no longer her responsibility to). When our assigned PM left the company, Iris was instrumental in helping to move the process along, reaching out to the necessary people to address any issues we had and putting us at ease. She was always pleasant and friendly even when we felt frustrated or anxious at times.Of all the scary pool building experiences you read about, we would highly recommend going with TBP. You will find peace of mind knowing you are in good hands with the likes of Amanda and Iris in your corner.

This is my 2nd pool that I have had built by Tampa Bay Pools. My sales Juli and my construction manager Rob are the absolute best to work with.Juli was great with the design and scope of the project, helped with my design color choices, and was always willing to answer even my silliest of questions.Rob has been the best construction manager that I've ever had the pleasure of working with. He was always on the job site, kept me 100% informed along the entire way, and answered any and all questions almost immediately. And the best part, Rob got my new pool dig to finish in a little over 8 weeks. Most portions of the build was done in just 1 day for each specific part of the process. Just amazing!I highly recommend Tampa Bay Pools. Ask for Juli and Rob. They are the best.Services: Custom Swimming pool design

Tampa Bay Pools was wonderful from design to finish. Juli was our sales rep. She was friendly, responsive and took in my vision. Her renderings were on point for what I asked. She did everything she could to help make this a reality for our family. Pat was our superintendent. He was equally amazing. Friendly, responsive and got the job done quick. Construction started late February. Someone was at my house every week. Construction progressed quickly and complete early April. It was phenomenal. I had no issues with construction. Everything was kept tidy and cleaned up afterward. We had 3 small issues: gauge on pump was broke upon install. Fixed immediately. Our pool pole wouldn’t lock. A new one brought immediately. Our screen door slammed. Someone came to fix it right away. Tampa Bay Pools was easy to work with and delivered on their promises. I highly recommend.Services: Inground pool installation

Great experience with Tampa Bay Pools. From the first day, we had the construction superintendent, Rob's contact info and always knew the timeline and next steps. Work progressed smoothly and site was kept clean. Tile work, interior surface, all brick and paver work was very professionally done. The cage turned out nice too. Total time from grading to completion was 10-11 weeks, which may be better than the typical job. Rob clearly knows how to manage pool construction jobs.I could not have expected a better experience having a pool built than this one. I was new to the area and selected Tampa Bay Pools because it has been in business in this area a long time building pools is its only business. Thanks for the great job!Services: Inground pool installation

We chose Tampa Bay Pools because of their solid reputation and number years in business in the area. Our sales rep (Juli) patiently helped us through multiple versions of the design process, color selection and upgrades all the way through contract day, making sure we included everything we needed without incurring any unnecessary expense. Rob was our project manager and completed our pool in under 9 weeks! He was onsite a few times a week, kept us informed every step of the way and made sure we understood what to expect through the whole process. They cleared our lot the last week of January and we were in the pool first week of April! We are currently going through the start up process and learning how to maintain our new pool with their ongoing support. We’re so glad we chose Tampa Bay Pools and highly recommend them to those looking for a new pool builder. Our pool turned out beautiful!Todd and Tracy S.Services: Inground pool installation

After reading dozens of reviews I ultimately determined that I would hire Tampa Bay Pools to design and build my custom swimming pool. I think it’s important to be completely candid so I’m going to summarize the pros and cons of my experience below:Pros:1. The price was very competitive. Almost 1/3 less than some pool builders based out of South Tampa.2. The Design Consultant, Juli, designed precisely what I wanted. She also offered great guidance regarding how to achieve the aesthetic I wanted while staying on budget.3. The entire pool build only took about 90 days! Incredibly fast and way ahead of schedule.4. The Project Manager, Rob, is extremely responsive. I always knew what phase of construction we were in. If I had an issue he’d stop by promptly and was always courteous and professional.5. It’s only been a few days, but the quality seems solid. The pavers, coping, lanai, stacked stone, etc. have really changed the appearance of our yard. We’ve received numerous compliments from friends, family, and neighbors.Cons: (These are mostly trivial, and will likely occur with just about any pool company)1. The company seems reluctant to endorse any contractors that you may need to secure in support of your project (e.g., tree removal, stump removal, irrigation companies, etc.).2. The company over-ordered pavers for the pool deck that we built, but ultimately we decided to use them for a side project.3. Although they cleanup routinely, you will inevitably have some construction debris or packing materials sitting out in your yard.Overall I would definitely recommend this company. You hear so many nightmare stories about fly-by-night pool contractors running off with deposits. Tampa Bay Pools is reputable and committed to serving their customers. The company has lots variety, experience, and a great staff!Special thanks to Rob and Juli for their assistance and responsiveness!Service: Custom Swimming pool design

It is easy to write a review when everything is going great, but what happens when there is an issue? Let me tell you that Tampa Bay Pools has exceeded our expectations. They built our pool back in 2016 during the construction of our home. We noticed some cracking last year and after a few back and forth gathering information, they came out, informed us that it is indeed still under warranty and they are fixing it! They fixed the cracks, resurfaced those areas, and the tile work. We couldn't be more happier with the outcome. They are professional and stand behind their work!Services: Custom Swimming pool design

Reply to: Tampa Bay Owner:Sir, It would be in your best interest to take a serious look and inquire "HOW" after a pool customer contracts with your company....they are treated. If you want a job half way done then this is the place for you. I had a brand new in ground pool built, which I spent over $100k. They delivered the pool but everything else that was supposed to be done never got completed. They left the yard a complete disaster. They were supposed to level and grade the surrounding yard portions around the pool, they did not. Now with a nice little breeze all the dirt is flow into the pool, which makes the pool dirty and makes the filter work harder to keep the pool clean. On top of that, every time it rains a get huge poodles of water in my yard. I have now had the pool for over a month, a yard completely destroyed, and they are no where to be found. We’ve communicated with the project manager the entire time and every time it’s a different excuse, and no one in their company wants to take responsibility. To top it off they took a dump truck full of dirt and left it right in my front yard for over a month, no need to say that the HOA is not happy. Yet they continue to say they are done. Enjoy the pictures, and if you do decide to go with them just have a lawyer ready.Services: Custom Swimming pool design

Okay I'm totally pre-mature with this, but these guys are freaking awesome! They started our build in the beginning of October 22. Now look at these to date photos. Y'all these guys are all business! Each and every phase contractor has been cordial, nice, hard working, informative, and just good people. To a man they've said that they've NEVER seen a project move so quickly and smoothly. Y'all the work you see of the edging was done in between Hurricane Nicole! What does that tell you? All of this is due to our project manager Derrick. Derrick has been the one to mange this tremendously excelerate time frame. Basically with supply and demand for materials for anything is a drag right now, Derrick is not taking any No's. Our supplies have been, not just on-time but, early in every phase of this build. All that's left is inner panels, paving, and the screen. If you want a pool built right and on-time, call Tampa Bay Pools. By far they have exceeded my every expectation! Make sure you ask for Derrick as your project manager. Tell him Romando sent you!! And you will get the prime time service.
