I am sooo thankful one of my friends encouraged us to sign our little one up for VPK with the Village. This year was amazing! The attention they pour on the children, and the events throughout the year, and the amount of growth I've witnessed from my child - priceless! Don't hesitate, because this school fills up fast, and there's a reason why! It's definitely the place to be!

So upon hearing about the village I immediately went visited and signed my daughter up for her very first EVER school experience (which happened to be directly after a pandemic…so to say I was nervous is an understatement). I expected the highest based off of reviews and what I had heard from other parents but boy were my expectations blown completely out of the water. I would give this place ten stars if I could strictly for the teachers we were blessed with this year. Mrs Jo-ann Navarro and Mrs Marlena Beamer are LITERALLY angels and were made for their roles in this field of work as teachers. Tenured and for good reason; they are the absolute best of the best and put my momma anxiety to rest almost instantly and throughout the course of the entire year. Mrs Rajaa Eloifi and Mrs Cassie Anderson both shared the year in our classroom but were phenomal as well. I watched my child completely bloom over the last year and it happened by only spending a few hours a day with these amazing women. They treated us like family, were the most supportive and attentive bunch that made handing my child over every morning easier than I anticipated. To say the Kindergarten teachers we get next year have big shoes to fill is an understatement. We love our teachers and our family at the Village! Thank you for the best first year and transition into school a parent could ask for! You did an outstanding job with my daughter Willa and will forever hold a special place in our hearts and memories!

The Village has been such an amazing part of our lives. We really enjoy the staff and we’ve be able to apply valuable lessons to our day to day because of this. We have peace of mind, a now Kindergartner who was fully prepared for the transition and a toddler who is learning new things daily. The village offers great summer camps and year round activities. My children have definitely learned independence and are building lasting relationships. I’d recommend The Village to anyone. We love it here!

We love the Village ELC! I can’t say enough good things about The Village. The staff is caring, consistent, and goes above and beyond. It truly felt like a family, I was devastated to leave an amazing pre-school program due to a relocation. I tried a few other “schools”/daycares before finding this gem. All the perks of a decent sized school without the franchise impacts. The outdoor play area is UNMATCHED and I love the garden & nature lessons. Stop your search and get on the list! I am so grateful for my daughter’s experience here & miss them!!

I was so nervous to send my daughter to VPK, but we found a home at the Village and anextension to our family. We were lucky enough to have 3 amazing teachers in her classroom. My daughter has a speech delay and when she started at the Village she suffered from frustration about not being understood. Not only did they work with her on preparing for kindergarten, they helped her conquer that frustration. One of the teachers even helped me in my first IEP meeting with the county after hours to make sure she got proper services. My daughter left the village feeling loved and with friends I'm confident she'll have for a long time. I wouldn't send my kids anywhere else. If you're looking for a place that will support your child and provide an awesome community then look no further

We love the Village ELC! We have been there for four years now. We have loved all the teachers. I love the app they use. It makes for great communication during the day and we love being able to see pictures of what our children are doing during the day. I wouldn’t send my kids anywhere else.

Every single person that works here are GENUINELY the nicest people and show just how much they really all enjoy what they do ! My daughter just graduated from their VPK program and about to start their summer camp ! I drive 45 mins every morning and afternoon to get there but it is well beyond worth it !! I honestly can’t say enough great things ! All I can say is if you’re looking for a place for your child don’t look any further ! This is the spot !!

I sent two kids to The Village ELC since 2011 and have had experiences there since 2009 and am very pleased. While The Village ELC is a business, administration, teachers, and other parents make it feel more like a "village" experience, where there truly is support for you and your child!

We switched our son from TLE and couldn't be happier! My only regret was not finding this place sooner, and my daughter not attending during her younger years. He is always picked up in the BEST mood, the teachers and staff are so informative about everything and we get plenty of photos throughout the day with something new they are doing! Amazing center

My children have loved attending the Village year round since 2014. Couldn't imagine sending the kids elsewhere with all the fun activities and learning that occurs at the Village!

Not only is this a great place for children, it is a wonderful place to work as well. The school uses a nationally recognized curriculum and provides mentorship at all levels of the child care profession. Over the 7.5 years that I worked there, I enjoyed ongoing training, flexibility and support as I experienced significant life challenges, and paid educational opportunities that prepared me to take on new and exciting roles. Benefits and pay are competitive, and the owners and staff are like a family.

I am very disappointed a “school” would tell children to openly ostracize other children from playing with them because they aren’t apart of that school when they bring their students to a public playground. The Village brought their group to Rotary’s playground where their children are told to not play with any other child that isn’t in their blue shirts. I watched as twenty kids told my daughter they wouldn’t play with her (when they were the only kids there around her age) and as her heart sank further with each rejection. Other children will have no idea why or really be able to understand the reasoning (I as an adult even don’t understand as it’s ridiculously moronic) why the children aren’t allowed to play with others. Not only does this teach a hive mentality and teach them to form cliques that will ostracize others but it makes the children act rudely (one girl was very snotty about it) to others. It is hurtful to other children. Instead of enjoying the fresh air and playing at the park with kids, my daughter left in tears feeling rejected and left out. All she wanted was to play with someone her age. When asked, their supervisor/teacher rambled off a derisive excuse about if their students hurt anyone they were responsible. Yeah, just as if your student hurt each other you would take corrective action. It’s not a massive legal issue. It’s a PUBLIC playground. People bring their children there knowing their kids will play with others and sometimes get hurt. They are responsible for their kids. You are responsible for your own. So why bring children to a public playground and not permit them to play with the other children there so that the few kids who are there (not apart of the center) end up with hurt feelings and the realization that people are cruel hearted. Build your own private playground and keep the kids there so you aren’t subjecting children to your mean girl style rules in teaching those students to purposefully leave out other kids which will only enforce that mentality later.Parents, if you want your children to grow into kind, compassionate people who include everyone don’t send them to this learning center. One of the things they will learn is to hold superiority attitudes with the schools silly and divisive philosophies. To emphasis how the center’s policies cause your children to be viewed as by other children, the first thing my daughter said in the car as we left Rotary’s was, “Those kids are all mean bullies who left me out. My heart hurts I never want to come here again.” Granted she calmed down and I explained the school was at fault not the children but you can see how the center’s policies made your children behave in appalling ways as they reject other kids from playing with them.

My wife and I have been so blessed to have the Village as the place that cared for, taught and and provided an exceptional foundation for our two boys. My wife - a School Psychologist, and me - a Principal (and a former Kindergarten teacher) of an Elementary School in the Hillsborough County Public Schools have high standards and expectations when we sought a place for our babies starting in 2014, and again in 2017. After a thorough search - there was only one place we could entrust our children: It was the Village Early Learning Center. Miss Susan and her staff loved our boys. The curriculum was fun, engaging, hands-on and helped develop our sons into avid learners. They have both made life-long friends and connections and always feel like they are part of this Village Family. If you care about your child being with the best, if you want you children love going to school, if you want your child to be in a safe, clean, respectful and loving environment - the Village Early Learning Center is the ONLY place to send you child. We are forever grateful for Miss Susan and her Village Family. :) Scott Valdez

The Village is absolutely amazing! The staff are kind, wonderful and detail oriented. We have looked for the last 3 years for a suitable after school program for our kid before being referred here. My kids actually ask me to stay until it closes because they love it so much. There is healthy snacks, a garden, and a variety of outdoor activities. Both kids come home tired and happy every day. The staff is so personable and has handled any questions or issues we have had with kindness and accountability. Don't send your child anywhere else!!!
