“Im going with 4 stars cause I cant give 3 1/2. Also its dollar tree and u get caught up in that store. There r tons of things worth the 1.25 and then some not. Its just always so messy . this particular store was very hot today like the air was off which made an unpleasant shopping experience so I didnt stay as long as I usually do. And things all over not stocked very well as in placement. There is no need for the disorganization really. There are 6 dollar Treess in the area and this ranks a tie for 4. The workers take a lot of breaks( mostly for smoking which isnt fair to other workers, or customers as well because of the smell. Im allergic so I try to avoid.”

“This particular store has gone above and beyond more than once for me even at closing time. It also has food better than most stores. Even produce, yes, produce!! I'm talking fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cherries, all of it!! People are awesome. Probably by far my favorite Dollar Gen-Tral... Ooops lol General!!”

“This was my first time at this particular location, but I can assure you it will not be my last. Both ladies were hard at work keeping shelves stocked and the store looking good. However..... “Great savings on greeting cards and gift bags!! 2 cards for 1.00 and bigger cards for $1.25. Gift bags ... all sizes are $1.25. Pantry items, cleaning supplies, snack foods, mugs, dishes, pet supplies, figurines, flip flops, you name it all for only $1.25! Parking is plentiful and easy in and out. Definitely worth checking out this great discount store.”

“Store #21730 on Cortez in B'ville, had it's doors wide open, gotta feel like 100 degree day! Ms. Carolyn greeted me with a big smile but a sweaty brow, NO AIR CONDITIONING. I thought if she can work today, I can shop today. But the heat got to me, I headed for the check out. Ms Carolyn cheerfully asked, "Did I find everything I needed today ?" I replied, actually I couldn't find scissors! She said, "they are in stationery, you wait right here and I'll go a pair for you". Ms. Carolyn was a helpful older sweetheart. I doubt today's younger clerk would even ask a question, let alone go out of their way to grab an item for me in my late 60s!I hope Dollar General recognizes what a dedicated employee they have and it was my pleasure to be talking a bit with a good hearted neighbor helping me get an item I really needed. Hope that A/C is fixed soon!”
