The Island Store is a convenient mini-grocery store located on Captiva Island. It survived Hurricanes Ian and Milton. The store is clean, well-lit, and has a little bit of everything, both essential and non-essential. It holds a huge selection of items, including alcoholic beverages from its outlet liquor store, food, cleaning supplies, medical and First Aid products, fresh muffins, and a small fishing section. Shoppers can find milk, eggs, coffee, bread, beer, wine, produce, prepared items, and even gifts. There is also a sandwich shop and bakery on site. The staff are friendly, helpful, down-to-earth, and happy, working diligently to answer any questions. Prices are high and dramatically increased due to the island location, but the convenience is considered worth it. It is a great, handy store for forgotten items like foil or coffee, adult beverages, or a toothbrush. Visitors are advised to do major grocery shopping before crossing the bridge but can find most needs here. A note of caution is given for tall people regarding the door.
Good store with a lot of options. Not too expensive for being on the island. Would be nice if they were open later!

Very inconspicuous from the outside, but a huge selection. 👍
