Dollar General Chiefland offers everyday essentials at affordable and low prices from right around the corner. It is quick and convenient with a good assortment of frequently-needed items, though some note there is not that much of a selection on other brands. Reviews mention the isles are always partly blocked with items and finding stuff can be a little bit tricky sometimes without aisle numbers. However, the store is really good with hardly any empty shelves. Customers can save more with the myDG program, and this location sells Alcohol and Tobacco.
Friendly service workers. The only problem is it's just too crowded with items. Service used to be friendly, but as of September 4th, 2026. I received the nastiest service at this facility. They don't have to worry about me coming there. The lady was so nasty, and I even gave her a satisfactory, but I will never do it again.

Average some things cheaper. A Lot more is expensive compared to other places. But a great variety of things.
