I do not reccomend Costco Optical Department. I went there because Consumer Reports reccomended them. The selection was limited. I sensed that I was holding them up from whatever the next thing they needed to do.

Bought a pair of Jimmy Choo glasses with the case, ALL the workers that attended us while we were buying the frames, turning in the prescription and picking up the glasses were rude, when the glasses arrived, the clerk took them out of the matching Jimmy Choo case into a Costco case and tried to give us the glasses without their matching case, She had an attitude and threw the receipt into the box when we insisted for the Matching Case THAT WE ORDERED AND PAID FOR, when we insisted for the glasses and she went to “check” for the case (because she said that we already had the case?) and there was only one Jimmy Choo case which was the one we ordered, If we hadn’t been careful she would’ve gotten away with stealing, manage your workers Costco.

Had an eye exam and when I received the glasses I immediately went to vision center to tell them I couldn’t see with the glasses . I went to my own eye dr and got a different perscription . Had the glasses remade and received a partial refund from optomitrist. Costco remade them. I brought in my old prescription which I can see out of much better. In the meantime in order to see, I have to take my glasses off .I don’t believe that’s the way it should work. I have $250 in glasses I can’t see with.NOT RIGHT

We received a Costco membership as a gift. Decided today would be a great day to go and get our cards. Arrived at 9:30 (oops, they open at 10). At 10:05, we again pulled in the lot. We couldn't believe the number people there. We had a brief wait at customer service; however, the supervisor was extremely personable and helpful, so that was okay. The aisles were crowded and chaotic, but the store was well-stocked. Additionally, the aisles do not have a directory at the ends, which does make shopping a bit cumbersome. We bought a few items and saw a few things we'll buy our next visit. Checkout was fast. We were aware that their policy is to accept Visa cards only (used to be American Express). Luckily, we had cash, but there were numerous ATMs (long lines at each). All in all, we're glad we have a membership again.

I love Costco so I will be back here, but this is a poorly designed Costco with the longest lines I've ever seen at any Costco in both the gas station and check out area and just too many people everywhere it's hard to move or get anywhere, if you don't have 2 hours set aside to go here, don't go. They also frequently run out of shopping carts. I avoid going on weekends but still run into this. Prices are good and I like a lot of their products.

I bought a pair of prescription readers and haven't had them a month and they're already scratched up. And I take good care of my glasses. The readers I have gotten from Amazon lasted so much longer before getting scratched up. And they're 5 pair for 15.00.I paid 70 at Costco with insurance. Such a ripoff. Do not recommend. Not even going to call them because they won't do anything about it. All about money now a days. ?

Susan is fantastic, she is very good at what she does, very professional, friendly and courteous. I've never had a bad experience with anyone in the optical department. I've been going there a few years and will not go anywhere else.

Costco is great! I truly enjoy shopping there. There customer service is phenomenal. Every Costco I've ever been to always has great customer service. The culture of the store is just great. You can find all kinds of deals and great items. The best part is their super affordable food court. Pizza, chicken bake, hotdogs, sandwich's, 69 cent soda! You can't beat those prices anywhere else.

I don't shop much at Costco. Most products are good. I did purchase a patio set by RST Brands three years ago (sofa, two chairs and a coffee table). I paid over $2k. The set has completely disintegrated. The cushions as well as the covering on the furniture. I contacted RST Brand who will not do anything for me. Stay away from RST Brand.

This place scream American excess. Long line. Big carts. Packed parking lots. Huge products. Free samples. Absent customer service. It is very overwhelming, so be prepared. But most everyone knows what they're getting into when they visit. Some of the prices are amazing. The meat is hard to beat price-wise I will need to be strategic with my visits.

We stood in one of the shorter lines to check out, but it became one of the longer lines as we put our items on the belt to check out. One of the employees came up & opened the check out lane next to us. That's service! The store has Christmas items already (9/30/23). It has sales on paper products & clothes, all in stock. We got the huge Bounty towel bundle for $5 off, which was a deal. We looked at a hoodie for $15 on sale from Orvis. It was very warm looking, but bulky. I chose a lightweight Eddie Bauer zippered hoodie for $17.99. I looked for replacement toothbrush heads, for $5 off, and saw the small print - online only. That's okay. With free shipping, it's fine. Duracell batteries were $5 off, but Costco batteries were the same price for more batteries. We read that Duracell makes their batteries, so we chose Kirkland. We used our bonus bucks to pay for everything. We earned them for purchases for the last quarter. They are always helpful. With the crowds and the parking sometimes hard to find, it is still a good place to shop! Next time we'll go on a week night for fewer people & easier parking.

Yesterday my wife joined Costco after the employee at the door Older lady with short blonde hair with glasses did everything in her power to talk my wife into NOT joining. My wife was telling me how odd that was when she got home. We went back today 9-27-23 and the same lady who was trying her best to talk my wife into not joining was working the membership desk. I had to get a membership card since i wasn't with her yesterday. My experience today was good until we had to deal with Costco employees. I can't believe how rude they are. We did the self checkout and one of the employees swarmed on us and did something to our scanner while we were scanning. Then she had some smart mouth comment. What in the hell is wrong with this store and its employees? Is management that piss poor that's it's rubbing off on it's employees?? We purchased several items today one being rotisserie chicken. Once we got home had one bite and it's all rubbery. I wouldnt even feed it to our dogs. Now we have to take it back and it's a good 20 min drive each way. We've been members at Sam's Club for over 30 years and still are. We've never had any issues at Sam's Club! I regret that my wife joined Costco! Nothing but a shit show. BEWARE

I have been a Costco fan for years, then I moved to Florida. The Costco's I've encountered in Florida are way inferior to the rest. The attitude of the staff and management is as if they don't want to really do the job or be there. They are doing you a big favor to help. The pharmacy staff are the most unprofessional I have encountered. Store inventory is always low, basic groceries are often missing from the shelves & the bargains are no longer available. I can get what I need at Walmart without paying any more than the cost at Costco but without the membership fee. I think the attitude is rampant in Florida, everywhere in Florida but I dont see paying for membership in costco anymore when I can get attitude for free. I will not renew this year after about 20 years of membership. I am guessing Costco has new leadership.
