“We loved the direct beach access which allowed us to watch the Sunset, capture a rocket launch from the Space Center and observe a Awesome night underneath the constellations. The sky is magical from this location on the beach. The apartment came equipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Within a few miles we found exceptional places to dine. Florida Fresh Grill for dinner and Flavour kitchen for Sunday brunch. The hospitality at South Beach Inn was lovely and I have added it to my local vacation oasis. Also the property has a beautiful tropical garden yard area with a pavilion, picnic tables, a tiki hut and a small deck where a wedding was conducted. The other visiting guess were all smiles, very friendly. That's most likely due to the receptionist Justin who is simply a Jewel. Just the way that He Greats you really sets the tone for your stay. Thanks South Beach Inn ⛱️”

“We stayed one night at the Beachside Hotel & Suites. It was one of the hotels that we found to be less expensive than others in the area, yet received OK reviews.I reserved a Deluxe Room, Poolside with 2 queen beds. I did so a few weeks ahead of the stay. Prior to arrival, I received and email to check in online. While doing so, I was asked if I wanted to pay $20 to upgrade to a room overlooking the pool. I had honestly forgot that I had booked a poolside room, but still opted out of the option. I wonder had I paid the extra money, would I have been given the same room?On arrival, the clerk at the front desk was great and check in was simple, as I had done it online. I asked for dining suggestions and got great recommendations. The room was OK. I guess you get what you pay for. It was dated but very clean. There was significant noise from the pool area. You could also hear the guests in the room next door and in the room behind us, which had a door that could be opened to share the rooms. Unfortunately, there was a young child next door that was loud until about midnight. The rooms that did not face the pool seemed to all face parking and the streets. The pool was probably the better choice. We did not take advantage of the dining area or free breakfast. And, it was too cold for us to use the pool, even though it was heated. Others were taking advantage of it.Overall, the room was OK for what we paid. Location was good and cleanliness was good. Noise level, not so great. We will probably not stay here again.”

“This place was absolutely perfect! Sue was absolutely amazing and accommodating for all of our needs. It's rare nowadays to book and actually reach a kind, compassionate human who answers your incessant questions clearly and concisely. She made after hours check in a breeze. This was me and my fiancés last minute engagement getaway and she made sure it was absolutely beautiful! The beach was lovely in the moonlight, with very few other people around. We loved being able to sit out on the deck in the morning to watch the sunrise. We couldn't have been any happier with our decision! Thank you so much for the wine, and making the occasion even more special than it already was. Will definitely be back!”

“Loved our stay here! On one side you have the river, and you're steps away from the beach (all you have to do is cross the street). The rooms are cute, and have what you need from a decent sized fridge, dining table, microwave, and sitting area. It's super clean and well maintained. The views are incredible! You can sit in the chairs by the docks or on the rooftop and just take in the beautiful scenery. If you want, you can take the kayak or paddle board out on the river (this is all included with your stay). They also have a supply room where you can get, chairs, life vests, pool toys, etc. They've done an amazing job of providing their guests with just about everything. The ONLY downside was that we didn't have an iron in our room so we had to go purchase one, but that isn't enough an of inconvenience for me to take away any stars. We were beyond happy with the accommodations, and I hope we get a chance to visit again some day.”

“My wife & I had a great time here. We only stayed one night, but our stay was memorable. We arrived in time for a late lunch & went to the Shark Pit Bar & Grill restaurant, located on the main floor of the hotel. Emily was our server & she was outstanding! The food was great too! We enjoyed it so much that we decided to go back later for dinner/drinks, & again for breakfast the next day. Emily, Teresa, Starla & Shannon were all fantastic! Also, Jim, who manages the front desk at the hotel, was extremely helpful. We had an issue prior to our arrival (no fault of anyone at this location), but Jim addressed the issue & really made us feel special. We appreciated the entire staff & hope to see you all again. Thanks! Ken & Kathy”

“A little pricey, but great location with direct access to the beach. Rooms were nice enough. Starbucks coffee and gelato for purchase in the lobby. Continental breakfast was $15 but pretty good quality with tasty croissants. Was even able to catch a rocket launch from the beach right after finishing dinner at the outside bar/restaurant.”

“We love the quaintness of the retro hotel and property! An extensive variety of rooms , tennis, games, pools and best access to beach! I loathe seeing another chain of amonstrous, clostrophobic view blocking hotel.”
