My parents went to U-Haul today to get assistance and my mom couldn’t even speak without this older Jamaican lady speaking over her. “The reservation is in his (my stepdad’s) name. He can’t speak?” They’re not from the US and she was very disparaging about them not having US driver’s licenses (“what kind of driver’s license is that? We can’t use that”). They’re from the Bahamas and speak perfect English. Let’s be for real here. She is an awful human being. They left because of her. Ironically she was training someone.Edit: they returned and Rebecca was able to help them. She was amazing!

Went in today to rent a truck so I can move out of my apartment and Maureen and Ed were super kind and helpful. Maureen was very informative about everything we needed to know to insure that we had a good experience with the vehicle. Ed was very professional and patient with helping us as well despite dealing with a difficult customer at the same time we were there. Thanks!

My recent encounter with U-Haul's U-Boxes service has been nothing short of a frustrating and disappointing ordeal. After renting six U-Boxes for a time-sensitive relocation, the entire experience turned into a logistical nightmare. To begin with, two of the U-Boxes were inexplicably lost during transit, causing significant delays and uncertainty about the whereabouts of my belongings. This alone created undue stress and inconvenience, as I was counting on a timely arrival at my new location. When the shipment finally arrived, the troubles didn't cease. Despite assurances of timely delivery, U-Haul failed to meet their promised schedule. Furthermore, their explanation for not delivering the boxes to my address due to purported size limitations on the road was perplexing and contradictory. It was asserted that the road was unsuitable for their trucks, despite similar vehicles traversing the same route regularly. This discrepancy between U-Haul's claims and the reality of everyday traffic on the road raises serious questions about their logistics and operational integrity. It seems evident that U-Haul's U-Boxes service is not a priority within their business model, resulting in inadequate handling and poor communication throughout the process. Regrettably, this experience has left me deeply dissatisfied and distrustful of U-Haul's U-Boxes service. The mishandling of shipments, lack of timely delivery, and perplexing excuses about road size limitations all contribute to a substantial failure on their part. I would strongly advise anyone considering this service to explore alternative options to avoid potential logistical hassles and disappointments. In conclusion, the entire experience with U-Haul U-Boxes has been riddled with inefficiencies and inadequate service. The company's handling of both the loading and receiving ends of the rental process has been subpar, leaving a trail of inconvenience and frustration.

Today i came to my storage unit to discover actual human feces was thrown into my storage unit and all over my items that i pay to store here. I tried to report it to the office and was told they were too busy. I was told to return later. So i called the office to report it since nobody can speak to me while i was there in the office the first time. Rebecca told me to come in again so they could access my unit to take pics and clean it out. Upon my arrival to the office, Rebecca had left. Instead, the woman and man (who refused to give me their names) in the office refused to do anything. They would not go take pics, check the cameras, or have it cleaned. They told me it must wait for Monday when today is Saturday. They feel it is alright for me to pay to have my items storage in actual human feces. Not only did the man in the office yell at me and do nothing to resolve the situation, he was petty enough to insult my shirt simply because it was an nfl teams’s shirt that he disliked. I have opened a action ticket against this person and branch. This is the worst handling of a situation that should not happen in the first place. The people were unprofessional and rude. At this point nothing was done to fix this situation. I warn people thinking of storing items here after this fiasco. Not only are your items not safe here but nothing will be done to help or resolve the situation if something does happen to your stuff. I would give this no stars if i could.

It is certainly the worst CUSTOMER service, everyone is rude, rude, they have no manners or any type of preparation to serve the customer or do any other activity related to the role they are supposed to perform! In less than a year they switched managers eight times. There is currently a despicable and disgusting being in the role of manager. this despicable being dresses in clothes these filthy and smelly clothes. This being that resembles a male human being is one of the candidates for the stupidest and rudest person working in this store.I can't wait to leave this place and get away from such disgusting, rude, lazy, indolent, oppressive people...

If I could give a negative star I would. Do not go to this location. They smile in your face when you are in person to rent a truck. Then weeks later, they tried to charge almost $2,000 to the card used weeks ago in their store again within 20 mins on a Friday night. NO BROKEYS!!!! Bank flagged it as fraud and I immediately closed the account. The audacity of the low life who prey on people giving your shady a$$ location business is disgusting! Dont ever use your card or do business with this location. If this place is your only choice, GO some place else! They will steal your card and try to steal from you. DISGUSTING! I am reporting this to BBB and Coconut Creek police!

DO NOT PUT UR BELONGINGS HERE THEY WILL BE STOLEN ! They have a door malfunction and allow anyone in the property for theft. All my belongings were stolen and the staff is nasty and rude please BEWARE

The absolute worse customer service I've ever received in my life! From the employees to the manager everyone has very nasty attitudes about having to do their job. Stay far away from here. Our rental truck was disgusting! Looked as if they didn't even bother to clean it & smelled like nothing but cigarettes. Trust me don't waste your time.

This is quite possibly one of the worst places for customer service. I'm so glad to be out. Just about every month I was told they didn't get a payment, when my payments were always sent on time. They argued with me and wanted me to send another payment. When I refused, they miraculously found the payment! I was told by someone who is no longer there that they didn't bother checking payments that came in. It was easier to just ask for another one.The supposed climate control was a joke! It's hot as hell in there some days. Horrible facility to deal with in so many ways. Absolutely would not recommend this to anyone.

Incredibly rude from the moment I walked up to the counter. I couldn't get any help at all with a trailer rental, trying to change the pickup location. She claimed there was no reservation in their system but I have emails and when I downloaded the app, my reservation pulls up. When I called the Pompano location, the person acted like they had no idea how to even create a reservation for a trailer. I don't understand if there are training issues or what, but the original visit to make the reservation at Pompano, there was luckily one lovely young lady that helped us and knew what she was doing, but other staff were rude and honestly lost! It was a terrible experience to say the least.

Cannot overstate the level of customer service here. I walked in 10 mins prior to closing, and Marian and the guys in the office were still incredibly friendly and went above and beyond despite me keeping them there past closing. She gave me a great deal on a unit, and made sure I’ll be a customer any time I need storage for as long as she’s there. Sometimes it’s just nice to be treated like a friend, it goes a long way in todays world.

Horrible customer service the woman Marian is absolutely disrespectful, judgmental and rude. I called to find out how much leeway there was until they placed a no access lock on the unit. My intentions were to no longer use the unit and i has cleared everything out except 1 item i could not move alone. After assuming i just did not want to pay the room fee she then placed the phone down and bad mouthed me to the other employees saying “why are people so lazy and don’t want to pay for their unit” “then they want help don’t be cheap and just pay for your unit”It’s bad enough to need help but to have someone shame me for asking and jumping to conclusions.. The unit is $240 all i needed was 2 days until someone could help me move it.. Which i believe they normally don’t place the restricted lock until about 3 days i just wanted to verify.So thank you Marian for making me feel like a waste of human life because i asked a question and needed help. I really hope belittling people is not something you do often.
