“I love Goldcoast Ballroom! There's nothing like it in South Florida. I was a regular for many years and had stopped due to medical issues. But I'm coming back, and it's as beautiful as ever, even has some upgrades. It's very reasonably priced for classes, usually followed by an evening of dance. Sundays were my favorite for Salsa and Latin dance, and ballroom dance afterwards. If you love to dance, this is the place to find a huge dance floor, serious dancers, and great instructors. It also has a cute boutique where you can buy dance shoes and outfits if you'd like, but it's open for limited hours. You'd have to check on that. Check out their website for a calendar of events and classes, and spread the word!”

“This is one of the premier private clubs in fort Lauderdale. It was wonderful when I went there when I was still in elementary school. It's 10 times better now, but it is a private club. The staff is very accommodating if you show up and have questions but generally admission is limited to members and their guests.”

“My friend and I first played this course back in May, we were told about the Summer card that gives you $25 off greens fees until October 31st great deal. We have been playing on average twice a week, great course, great staff my only complaint would be to install another bathroom on the course currently there is only one after hole 11 on the Oaks course.”

“UPDATE** A year in a church where I thought I found family, friends, my spiritual walk with those who could keep me accountable. The thing with these big “mega” wanna be churches is — the ones who serve behind it.

You cannot be a Christian with liberal ideologies and with unrighteous morals. People know what happens behinds closed doors and remain quiet, turn the blind eye.

I don’t think God lurks in those walls and the holy spirit isn’t moving there. Rally? Filled with young adults that leave those events and the next day are doing what they ask for forgiveness on a Sunday morning for. Use discernment friends, God doesn’t like imposters and injustice. I pray for those hypocrites that warm up a seat on a Sunday and by Monday morning the mask comes off. Godspeed.

“​For anyone exploring the downtown area, this historic pioneer village along the Riverwalk is a mandatory stop that offers a stunning contrast to the modern skyline. The campus is anchored by the breathtaking 1905 New River Inn, which proudly stands as the oldest surviving hotel in the county. If you look closely at the architecture, you will notice it is constructed from hollow sand-concrete blocks molded on-site. This is a fascinating piece of early engineering originally designed to keep the building cool in the humid Florida heat.
​Beyond the magnificent Inn, the shaded grounds are home to two exceptionally prominent historic residences. Visitors can take in the elegantly restored 1907 King-Cromartie House and the beautiful 1905 Philemon Bryan House. These structures are connected by well-maintained brick pathways and shaded by massive, mature oak trees.
​When planning your visit, this waterfront campus serves as the perfect starting point for a broader tour. You can easily explore the village first and then continue your walk east along the paved promenade. Access is incredibly straightforward because they have their own dedicated parking lot right by the houses. Steve was also great to work with! This was our second time having a birthday party here and everything was flawless! My expectations are high when it comes to customer service, cleanliness, value and fun and this group consistently delivers and goes beyond! Our experience this time was even better than the first time and frankly, it was pretty perfect the first time. The team was incredibly helpful with getting the room set up according to my specifications. They were attentive when bringing food and responded positively and timely to every request we had. “This spot is old and I like that. It has been revamped and remodeled a good bit to make it more appealing by the new owner. Rinks don't have to be fancy to have good hockey and fun programs. My favorite rinks have character. Rink on the Beach has about as much character as I've seen in FL. Not to mention it's the OG Panthers practice facility. Spend your $ at a mom and pop rink that focuses on customers as opposed to the newer places that have pressurful investors to make whole.”

“The Winterfest Boat Parade is AMAZING!!! Every year, 100+ boats cruise the waterways of Fort Lauderdale and the whole city comes out to celebrate. We have put boats in the parade for 3 years and it is an incredible time. Well organized, safety is priority, and the light show is spectacular. We love that the community comes together to display its best traits, boats and water views. I would highly recommend going to see the show from one of the grand stands, or if possible, entering a boat.”

“Just a short 7-minute walk to the beach! Everyone at the hotel was incredibly friendly and welcoming once you walked through the door. Our room was a standard-king and it was very clean and comfortable. I will say, that the windows in each room tend to face one another - so our curtains were shut the whole time. Was a bit surprised there wasn't some kind of window tint? The fridge size was a huge bonus, I've never been to a hotel with one that big. It was very helpful when we had dinner leftovers.”

“Recent Condo owner, and totally in love with the theater here. This venue is totally redone, with no bad seat, and all the seats very comfortable. The stage is huge, there are two huge tv screens on both sides of the stage up high, and in between is a state of the art sound system that delivers. The no dancing rule is rough, but with all the advanced age residents, I sort of think that is o.k.? Not really, but if that's the only negative comment I have, then the five star review is warranted. And the drive home............”
