I came in crying, overwhelmed, and frustrated after running around all day trying to get everything prepared for surgery. “Overall, I’ve had a positive experience with MISTR. It’s a good service that I think fills an important need by making PrEP, HIV/STI testing, and prevention services much easier to access. The at-home testing is especially convenient and removes some of the barriers that can keep people from staying engaged with preventative care.
The service isn’t perfect. Most of the issues I’ve experienced have actually been with the pharmacy rather than MISTR itself, and responses to support requests by text can sometimes be slow. I also wish the pharmacy offered a 90-day supply of medication rather than shipping one month at a time. That would make an already convenient service considerably easier to use.
One thing I particularly appreciate is MISTR’s partnership with local health agencies. A representative from my local agency reached out to me and has been an excellent point of contact, including helping when I’ve encountered pharmacy or other issues. That added human connection has made a real difference.
There are definitely opportunities to improve the experience, but overall I think MISTR provides a valuable and accessible service. Making HIV and STI prevention easier to access is important for both individual and community health, and I’m glad services like this exist.”

“Thank you to the amazing staff and customers who helped my good friend on Saturday afternoon, 4/25/26, when her legs collapsed and she fell to the floor.
So many people came to our aid. One woman found a chair Another brought the special cart with the seat. People helped lift her to the cart. The staff helped us to our car, checked out our groceries for us, and loaded our bags. They stayed with my friend while I ran in and paid.

“Very nice supermarket to make necessary purchases. It is a little more expensive than Walmart, but it has everything you need and more variety of meals made to take away and heat. In addition, it has a pharmacy inside Publix itself, which is accessed through the parking lot.”

“Go to Publix in the heart of Edgewater, it's big and clean, the rows are wide, giving people plenty of room to shop.
The store is busy at times but even at its busiest everything seems to move smoothly. Think this place is well managed, and definitely safe and secure, with a police regularly on duty near the door as there are homeless lingering on the corner here.
Parking is easy in the three story garage.
There is nothing like a Publix BOGO deal; would take that over TJ's or Whole Foods any day of the week.”

“I needed to grab some juice and was in the mood for a sub this morning, so I stopped by this location. It was my first time there and I loved the retro look and feel of the store.
After grabbing what I needed, I went to the deli where Vonna prepared my sub. She was such a sweetheart and recommended that I get the chipotle Colby Jack cheese next time. She let me try a piece and it was delicious. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, and Vonna definitely made my day!”
“This is by far my favorite place to shop in coconut grove. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. They recently remodeled all of the coolers so that any of the chilled goods are now behind cooler doors. Not sitting out on shelves , thus keeping all of our food fresh longer. A significant upgrade for a budget grocery store.”

“Let’s just say my last visit to the store was not pleasant at the customer service line. The girl was having a bad day And she didn’t see me waiting behind the people she was attending. There was a guy when I got there attending to someone and when it was my turn, he left so I went to her line and waited. She got upset because she said that she didn’t see me and she had two lines. I told her that I had been waiting there for almost 10 minutes. It was 8 pm. She didn’t even say thank you or apologized I told her to blame the co worker that left me and her that’s all”

“Richard is the only pharmacist I have ever seen that cares deeply for his customers - he knows all of them personally some for decades. He goes out of his way even for new customers who are visiting- I have seen this myself. Of course there are also difficult, condescending people who aren’t satisfied but that is not the result of the cvs staff efforts. I am appalled by the remarks I read - these people need to find another store- the real customers love Grand Ave and the staff!”
