Barnes & Noble is a well-known bookstore that has undergone significant changes over the years. The current store is smaller and has fewer books and magazines than it used to have, which some customers find disappointing. The store still offers a variety of books, accessories, and periodicals, with a friendly atmosphere that is especially appealing to young readers. There is a renewed focus on magazines, though some titles previously available are no longer in stock. Customers appreciate the attention from staff and the peaceful environment, making it a good place to read or study, especially for IT-related books and certifications, with a coffee bar available for refreshments. However, the store faces some concerns. The selection of children’s books, particularly in Spanish, is limited and priced high, making it difficult for some to promote reading and culture. The store’s reduced size and inventory are seen as drawbacks, with some customers comparing prices unfavorably to online options like Amazon. The store once had a larger space with an in-store cafe and a broader variety of books and magazines, which many miss. There is also criticism about the benefits of premium memberships, which seem limited and somewhat confusing, especially regarding birthday freebies for children. Despite these issues, many customers still enjoy visiting Barnes & Noble for the search for bargains and the chance to browse in a comfortable setting.
The staff was very nice and helpful. But my problem with this store how small there travel section was. So instead of walking out with my book of choice, they did very kindly order me a book but I now have to wait almost a week before it arrives.

Nice people working here. Miss the larger store but glad I can still come here to get books.

Beautiful and diverse display of books, welcoming environment that allows you to peacefully digest what you’re reading. Fun area dedicated to the little ones.
