“I have been coming here off and on for a long time, but I’ve pretty much always considered this my “home” comic shop. Now that I’m back in the area again, I am taking full advantage of their subscription service where I can order what I want and subscribe to certain books, and they pull everything aside for me as soon as it comes in. There’s even a tiny bit of a discount if you do! Everyone here has always been great help and a fun chat. No gatekeeping here. One of the few places where they welcome you in and will actually help you out.”

The service you receive in such a shop is a pleasant reminder of what retail can/should be. I have no children yet, but will have some ASAP just so I can frequent this store more often.”

“While I enjoy shopping here, I rarely buy. Why? I'm glad you asked. First, the incessant high-pressure pitch to join their club and/or magazine subscriptions is irritating. Second. We'll over a year ago I asked the manager for help in finding a book the clerk didn't know where to look. The manager said he was too busy and walked away. Maybe he was, but he should have found someone to do it.”

“Great selection of the latest TCG releases and board games. The singles selection if kinda mediocre but always selling sealed product at msrp makes this one of the best spots in Broward. Other card stores have moved to the market/scalper pricing model but not Tate’s. They also have tons of tables for tournaments and casual gameplay. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about products so definitely worth checking out. Giant comic book store next door worth checking out too!”

“After traveling from West Palm Beach to find my Bible Book cover and 2022 Planner, I must say our trip was well worth it. Ken was so friendly and helpful. The blueberry and cranberry muffins were big, fresh and delicious. The Hazelnut gourmet coffee transported me to a lovely place as well. I definitely plan on making another trip and spend more time browsing for more goodies.”

“The chapel is a beautiful setting for church services and school programs. We visited today to see Christmas carols by the 2nd through 5th grade classes at Saint Andrews School and prayers offered by clergy and faculty. The chapel building itself is impressive, as a church would be, with ornate stained glass and etched glass windows. A very large pipe organ sits above in the choir loft. We did not hear the organ as part of today's program but would like to return sometime. The technology for the school carolers today worked well and video boards were mounted to show slideshows and program information to the congregation.”
