“Great experience from start to finish, I brought my 15lb Cavachon to the Plantation location for teeth cleaning, able to save $50 instead of house visit. Our dog is a little anxious at vet, groomer, told she was shaking a little at first at HealthySmiles, but able to control well with towel wrap and able to complete teeth cleaning safely. Debrief at the end was excellent, Natalia took her time to show before/after pictures and some pictures during cleaning. She explained plaque/tartar buildup and how to brush teeth at home and prevent buildup in the future. They told me that we can consider calming treats or sedating oral medication in the future visits, but our dog did great. Highly recommended! :)”

The prices definitely beat any other place , they don’t try to upsell anything and are honest about additional procedures. But most importantly my cat Selene was comfortable, healing went well and she is in recovery now. “I can't recommend these kind-hearted people enough! I came in yesterday with my daughter's Syrian hamster who unfortunately had a large tumor growing on his chest. The doctor and his nurse treated me and our little furball with all the dignity, compassion and respect that any family dog or cat would deserve. They saw me the same day, were very transparent about expectations, and extremely kind to me during a tough moment. It would have been easy to be flippant with such a tiny creature but they treated my grief with the same reverence as the loss of any family member. The hardest part of having a pet is when their little lives come to an end. We all want to make sure that we give them humane and dignified end-of-life care and minimize any needless suffering. The team here allowed me to leave with my conscience and my heart clear knowing that I did the best I could by our little Jimmy ♥️ ? RIP little guy

The fact that she sets up her entire exam with your dog by operating on their level - the floor - was such a lightbulb moment. “Dr Ramirez saved our dog. He’s super old. We went on vacation and when we returned he was incredibly sick. We really thought It was the end. We prepared our family to say goodbye to our dog. She was so respectful and said “I think we should just try something… “. Either way, she was happy to either help him cross the rainbow bridge, or just try something for a week and see if we see an improvement. Sure we could’ve spent thousands on ultrasounds and scans but surgery wasn’t in the stars for our dog.
She granted a new lease on our dogs life… after a rough week—he was back to his old typical self!! This was in November—so we have had an extra 3 months so far. Again, he’s an old man dog and I’m not sure how much time he has left, but we are so grateful for this extra time with him and for the care and respect Dr Ramirez showed our dog and our family.
We still aren’t sure what causes Bourke to get sick. I’m assuming he ate something bad. It was pretty horrific amounts of blood and diarrhea and he was seizing. We really thought It was the end… We were given prescription bland dietary cans of food, pre and probiotic, and our dog is back!
Thank you Dr Ramirez and team!! I hope you know how happy you’ve made our family. I’ve been meaning to thank you and should’ve posted this review sooner.”

“Can I say something? I love it here. Dr. G and his team are amazing. They listen attentively and consider every possible option. Rest assured, we've tried many veterinary clinics for Mila and worked tirelessly to diagnose her. But no one has examined her as meticulously as Dr. G. This, in my opinion, is what real medicine is. Other clinics constantly ask for more tests, ultrasounds, and other things that cost you money, but Dr. G focuses directly on the problem and does whatever he can to resolve it quickly. If your pet means everything to you, come here”

“My cat has an infection on his cheek and I walked in randomly without an appointment. Apparently I was super lucky because dr bob was present and the 9:30am appointment didn’t show. For reference you should make an appointment, but for me luckily they serviced me and my cat . They cleaned his wound, checked him, and gave us meds, all for a total of only $106! They gave me a small discount, but even without it I bet it would still be VERY cheap. Very glad I listened to my gut and went here. Felt comfortable with the vet and my wallet is very happy. Will return definitely!”
