“We had my pet fixed here and everyone was very respectful and kind to my pet and myself as I explained to them that our pet doesn’t get along with other animals due to the fact that she was attacked as a baby and now dislikes animals they respected that and kept animals separate from her. I appreciate it a lot it means a lot they are honestly the best place I ever had”

“Very knowledgeable. Animals treated with dignity here because this place cares. My Nips was a hard choice. 21 year old calico. I am glad these people were there for that and the process. I am older and have had many companions in my life depart. Many times people say or act like they care, but often with age comes wisdom or experience. You can tell the difference. They care. Never have I received such personalized notes and items when I went after to gather the remains of my little girl. It meant the world to me. If you sense that missing from your doctor, try Emerald Hills. I don't believe you will be disappointed.”

“Been bringing our elderly cat here and we love this vet. The entire staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, it’s always a good experience and smooth visit. We usually see whatever doctor is available but I don’t remember the name of the doctor, Lazarus something or other… idk lol. Saw him today for what turned out to be an ear infection and he took his time with us, explained everything and was extremely helpful and friendly. Definitely will be requesting him specifically for future appointments! We also love all of the assistants and everyone at front desk. I’m also fond of the careclub plans, I pay $20 a month for the unlimited exams and I've found it to be very worth it as she is an older cat and we’ve been having to book appointments frequently. Highly recommend and I tell all of my friends about this vet”

“I've gone to this clinic for almost 10 years when they were on griffin rd.. Just the best place to go to and they really care for the animals.. When they moved, I didn't know where they were.So I went to 2 other places in the area.. Horrible experiences... I found them and called right away for my kitty with a stuffed nose.. Not only could they fit me in, they're just so nice and the doctor is so thorough.. I'm so happy and relieved to have found them again”

“WOW! What an excellent idea. I went to pick up food for my dog at Pet Supplies Plus and brought my dog for the ride. While we were there, we saw this place. The girl who helped me was excellent. The vet was knowledgable and funny as can be. This was a much better option for basic care than my normal animal hospital.”

“This clinic has been providing care for my cats for a while. The doctor performed surgery on my previous cat with a successful outcome, and I always knew he was in good hands. They are very thorough, and the doctor always takes the time to explain what is happening and why. Unfortunately, my cat later passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack, and he had other health issues as well. I wish I could have brought him in sooner, but cats are very good at hiding pain or discomfort, so sometimes you just don’t know until it’s too late. Later, we got another cat, and this time I brought him to this clinic for a full evaluation. The doctor performed an ultrasound of his kidneys and discovered kidney fibrosis. Now he is on a special diet and takes medication every day, but otherwise he is happy and healthy. It gives me peace of mind knowing that we caught the problem and are doing everything we can to keep him healthy. The food the doctor recommended is also much better for him. This clinic is very efficient, professional, and thorough, and the doctor always recommends what is truly necessary. Now all I have to do is refill his medication every three months and continue maintaining his health. I’m very grateful for the care both of my cats have received here and would definitely recommend this clinic.”

When we received his ashes back we were also given a card, which they had all signed and wrote beautiful messages along with his paw prints. “Updated June 23/2026 There is not words for me to describe how grateful I am with you guys, specially with Dr. Salinas, I first came to your clinic in December with my cat Diva because we were moving to Hawaii, it is a long (about 5 months) process because they have very strict regulation for rabies, ticks and other diseases prevention so she needed several shots and tests done or she will have to stay in quarantine for up to 120 days, I thought it was going to be very stressful and complicated process but thanks to Dr. Salinas it was the opposite, he guided me through it very well, did all that he needed to do and explain what steps I needed to do myself, I feel like he really cared for my Diva and it showed because when the time came for us to travel everything went smooth, we made it safely to Hawaii and my fur baby was released from the airport immediately, no wait time and no quarantine was necessary because Dr Salinas did everything right for us to have a pleasant arrival and go home immediately. I highly recommend this clinic and Dr, Salinas. We will continue to visit Banfield clinic in Honolulu from now on but the one in Hollywood will stay forever in my heart, thanks a lot and best wishes!❤ Original review Dec/2025 Very satisfied, I feel like they really care for my Diva, thanks!”

“My dog was seen by Dr Murphy today. She is really an excellent vet. She took a lot of time to examine him, take his history and explain her thoughts to me. She chose the exams and tests he needs very judiciously to ensure we find the correct diagnosis but are not being wasteful. She is organized and articulate and clearly cares a lot for her furry patients.”

“If you have a pet, have you ever thought about where to go in an emergency? Well it's better to know and not need than to need and not know. Especially in a crisis. I went to LeadER because my cat was referred due to a heart murmur. I was also concerned about a mass that developed and grew pretty quickly. A few hours after the cardiology visit, I found my cat unresponsive and breathing heavily. I panicked but because I had gone there earlier that day, I knew where to go. I cried all the way there but I arrived in time for them to triage her. They determined she needed a blood transfusion to stabilize her. The mass was robbing her of red blood cells which is why she was struggling to breathe. She stayed over night for 3 days. This place is a hospital with everything you would expect in a human hospital. They have nurses assigned to each pet. She eventually went home and returned for surgery to remove the mass. They kept me posted before during and after the surgery. The biopsy found cancer. I consulted with an oncologist and Mimi is now on the mend. She's very playful and adventurous. I knew she was feeling better when she wanted to wrestle and play with me. I have fresh scratches to prove it. LeadER saved my cat.”
