Madden's Ace Hardware 2 is open, operating on generator power with cash-only payments due to phone and network issues. The store has a good selection of hardware and items needed for projects. The crew is amazing, friendly, and professional, with a nice amount of employees ready to help. Staff members are patient, polite, knowledgeable, and go out of their way to provide top-notch service, helping customers find items quickly. They are helpful and check inventory over the phone. The best service is consistently provided, making it a great local place that is very much appreciated.
The paint guy helped me make a good match to a very glossy tile that the paint matcher system may not have been able to do on its own because of the tile sheen. Brian in plumbing, and really the whole staff, is amazing. He always takes the time to explain my issue and go over what I need. I know Ace is a big chain, but at least at this location on beach side, they try and keep the local small town feeling and service.
